The RocketStor 6328AS is a hardware RAID powered 8-Bay diskless RAID solution designed for high-performance Thunderbolt 2 host platforms. The modular form factor pairs a high degree of flexibility with cost-effective storage expansion capability. Uncompromised Storage Performance: Unlike PCIe Expansion-based solutions, the Thunderbolt 2 connectivity is completely dedicated to storage performance; SAS and SATA hard drives hosted by the 8-Bay tower can fully utilize the 20GB/s of transfer bandwidth. The built-in hardware RAID controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and JBOD configurations and delivers the uncompromised performance and superior data protection demanded by professional 4K media applications. Flexible, Versatile Design Streamlines Storage Upgrades: Unlike preconfigured storage solutions, customers are not restricted to a specific set of drives, or saddled with capacity limitations & costly upgrade paths. The 8 removable, hot-swappable bays support any industry standard 3.5" SAS & SATA hard drive. Customers can avoid the expense of replacing entire storage appliances and upgrade at their own pace. Comprehensive RAID & Storage Management Interface: The streamlined web-based user interface simplifies the storage configuration process. Optional auto rebuild and hot spare features add additional layers of data security to redundant RAID 5 and 6 configurations. Administrators can designate unused drives to automatically take the place of failed units or configure the RocketStor 6328AS to immediately initialize rebuild process by simply plugging in a new drive. Advanced management features allow customers to manage storage remotely via an internet connection or local network, & configure Email notification to inform one or more users of changing storage conditions while outside of the studio.
