Bitdefender Total Security Multi Device 2018, 5 Devices, 1 Year Retail DVD

Have used Bitdefender for many years and have always sung their praises. This latest version stopped me being able to access the internet altogether. Other people have had similar issues and I used their videos on YouTube to try and resolve my issue but to no avail. I even tried turning off the firewall and everything else that the software gave me the option to turn off and that still didn’t work. So I had to go for the nuclear option and uninstall the product completely. As soon as I rebooted after uninstalling I can immediately connect to the internet again. They need to patch whatever this issue is causing people this problem. Not impressed.

Have moved to Bitdefender after years of happy use of an alternative product from the East. Researched beforehand and then Bit the bullet, decided to make the change. Having used at least 4 different big name security products over the years, this is, so far, has got all our votes.Ease of install was fantastic, whether on MS or Apple products (we bought 5 licences). Having run a check and cleanse with our old Security product on our PC's before installing (just in case), we were glad to find Bitdefender didn't pick up any issues when it took over the reins. However it did flag up quite a few security threats on the Macs in the family, which hadn't had any 'external' security programs previously. So, everyone very happy so far. Autopilot (as recommended) seems to jog along very nicely without any interruptions, and machine operation/speed appears completely unaffected. The only tiny, tiny, gripe is the rather repetitive popup offering the secure overlay when going anywhere near a finance site...probably a way of turning it off, mind you.

I used McAfee and then Kaspersky , with McAfee I had big problem on slowing me system and on receiving very often errors and I think that McAfee is now outdated ,I found Kaspersky to be an realible software but still giving occasionally errors ,I decide to try Bitdefender as I was impressed on theirs scores and international rewards,I can say that I am delighted of Bitdefender it has full 5 stars seems that can do more then McAfee and Kaspersky at a full scan will find any viruses on the system then will instantly block any virus attack or athoers threats it's easy to use it's a safe realible software I highly recommend the software ,If any help needed it Bitdefender has a team that works 24h from 24h ,It is for sure no 1 product in the present time and it is like this for good years now

Bitdefender can be a bit complicated if you don't know what you are doing, but once you get to grips with it - it has been and in my limited experience of helping friends and family with their PC problems always served me well.At 45 years old (me, not Bitdefender) the bonus of the wallet feature for passwords and credit/debit card numbers has always been a great addition.I have used Bitdefender for the last 5 years, through internet banking - safepay is best for this (Bitdefenders own cut down browser - prevents snooping) and now with it's own VPN service with which i have yet to use.

Been using pc for however long with no security until today i noticed the icon in task bar and i realise that bitdefender licence had expired 5 weeks ago!!! I am renewing but this time will place a sticker on my pc. I had disabled notifications because they were daily spamming me since January to upgrade. Now nobody likes pop ups. But being able to disable a reminder or a screen to tell you its not working at all is rather dumb..especially when I contacted customer services about how to disable the daily or more pop ups from program.

Purchased this 5 “Multi device” software as it was advertised as including the functionality of an integrated password locker. Having waisted many hours copying manually website URL’s, logins, passwords into what seemed a very basic utility, it was only after contacting Bitdefender Technical support did they confirm that the password locker feature is only available on a PC! Be warned the password locker feature is not available on iPhone, Mac or Android versions of the software which rather defeats the point in having it just on one device!Being returned for a refund – which is a pity as the other aspects of the software seem pretty decent.

I purchased this software to replace my old one that ran out, thinking it was a good one by the reviews, built would not load on my windows 7 laptop 4 times I tried to load it 4 times it failed I purchased the dvd version as I don't have wired in wifi and have to rely on phone based data using a hotspot it used up about 1.5gb of data on the 4 attempts to load it it wouldn't let me make an account with Bitdefender this was the time it goes wrong, it's possible that it needs a proper wifi connection so I can't recommend this product, just be aware if you only have phone data I've not had any trouble from other antivirus products even the free ones so shall have to use one of them

Excellent comprehensive Internet Security product. This is the third year of using Bitdefender - it's a great piece of software. I particularly like the Ransomware control although it seems highly effective in other departments.The control panel has changed, and for me it is much better.A big plus is that this can be loaded on up to 5 Windows and Mac systems desktop/laptop and pads.
