I ordered two sets and am happy with the way they packaged these. They're double boxed when shipped, and the interior box is a locking/hinge-open type of box that's great for storage. The inside has everything wrapped and layered with clear plastic foam. They do use some tape to affix the top layer of foam that wraps around, which ensures a tight fit and no movement. The boxes are very heavy, but going through each plate, they all seem okay.The iridescence is consistent across each piece-- no gaps in it, and it's just as pictured. I'm really happy with these! Although there are some -very- minute differences in the glass itself, on the bottom, you won't really notice. Can't wait to play around with these for some fancy meals. They're so, so pretty.

These chargers are the most gorgeous and unique I've ever seen. I absolute ADORE this color (which is only one of several available from Koyal in this style-- feel free to google).Mistake to AVOID: When I washed them the first time to prepare for storage, I made the mistake of forgetting to flip the sponge from the rough side to the smooth side.... Some of the foil paint (on the underside) started to chip/bleed off *yikes* ... Fortunately it wasn't catastrophic (barely noticeable) but I wish I had been more careful. The product details do mention to avoid scratchy pads and high temperatures; I just got unintentionally careless for a moment......In any case, I would still highly recommend so long as you are gentle with them. They are heavy glass and quite large; a standard dinner plate can fit and and probably leave about 1.5 inches of border (eyeball estimate). I thought about using one as a centerpiece dish for the holidays to give it some usage instead of keeping them in the cabinet all the time. I'll probably put some DIY painted pine cones for Thanksgiving and color-coordinated tree ornaments for Christmas.

The color is actually an applique of some sort - either a sprayed on or some sort of adhesive material. As such, these are not dishwasher safe. Further, when you do clean them, I'd recommend warm over hot water to keep the adhesive bond from weakening over time. And as chargers are often intended to be heated (i.e. "charged" - hence the name) I wouldn't say these are intended to be heated. The are beautiful, however, and my dinner plate fits inside the top indentation perfectly while allowing the border color to show through. These do not have perfectly flat bottoms. Nor do they have a circular solid foot (like a dinner plate). They have a random series of points on the bottom that were clearly designed to have a uniform number of 'touch' points with the surface so they ultimately sit flat on the table.I looked at these for I think over a year before I finally committed. I'm glad I did. I ordered these in both the fuchsia and plum and both are equally pretty and identically designed.

I got these hoping they would come in one piece, well the package was fine and the packaging was good but two of the plates were broken.

The product is true to the packing and image on Amazon. Unfortunately two out of the eight Chargers arrived broken. When I originally received the order I called Amazon Customer Service who were friendly courteous and helpful in resolving my issue and were able to replace the items that were broken. They are beautiful and the glass adds texture and elegance to my table scape.
