Well Made Useful Bit Of Kit To Tidy Up Power Tool Stuff
The kit I have builds two complete three shelf units. Each unit consists of two end pieces, three shelves, a screwdriver holder and a hammer loop. The unit fits together well, I had no difficulty in assembly, it's pretty obvious where all the bits go. Just be sure to get the end supports the right way round with screw holes at top rear so the unit can be hung on the supplied screws. The supplied hardware seems to be of good quality, the supplied pressed steel spanner and allen key are sufficient for assembly. A spare wall plug with screw and a spare nut and bolt are included in the kit. The screwdriver holder can be fitted at any shelf level you want, it doesn't have to go on the middle shelf. There is a hoop on the right side lower shelf for hammers etc. Hooks are supplied, two for each unit if you'd rather hang it from something than screw it to a wall.My Makita drills, impact driver, and reciprocating saw fit the tool holders just fine. There is space to hang drills with batteries fitted, though at this time of year with freezing temperatures my batteries are kept warm in the house! The upper shelves can of course be used for anything you like, I currently have an assortment of my most used drills and bits. A Makita twin battery charger fits the top shelf perfectly. The only slight issue I have is that the ends can't be swapped side to side, so the fixed hoop will always be on the right side. All in all I really like these a lot, very handy for tidying up your kit and making it easier to get at, well made, and I think good value for money. I currently have one unit mounted in my shed, I have an undercover work area outside for use in warmer weather where I'll likely mount the other.

Decent garage/shed storage rack.
Quite impressed by this tool storage rack. Its well made and quite easy to put together. Standard wall mounting (included wall-plugs and screws) with a firm and stable fixing.I don't actually have any power tools stored on the rack. They come with storage cases with chargers and spare batteries etc, so really why would you unless you're using them daily or have limited space. The rack is not large enough store lots of boxed tools. It does though provide plenty a space for individual tools. The screw rack is okay - its probably better if unlike me you have an ordered set of screwdrivers - I've lots of different ones sourced over the years. Hammer hoop useful. What is has proven most beneficial for is as a temporary workstation store - where you can layout kit and any fixings or fasteners to keep the work surface clear and if you're lazy like me and don't always put your kit away (as you're going to carry on the next day - honest!) then at least its safely out of the way.The only criticism I have is as a dual pack every thing is an duplicated so for instance you cannot put two of them flush together without removing the hammer hoop as its an integrated part. Not particular a problem for me as the second one is going in my shed.Overall impressed with this. Will see how it copes with the inevitable bangs and knocks of life in a garage. But for now its 5 stars from me.

A nice lightweight selving unit.
The 'WELDUN 2 Pack Power Tool Organizer Storage Rack' plain box as one set of parts, rather than two sets.First task out of the box after removing the cable ties holding the sections together was to compare the parts list and everything was as expected. As we have a flake or two of snow outside, I decided rather than visit the cold workshop, I would to do a quick mock up in the bedroom, I also had an idea which I wanted to try using both sets.I did find a few scuffs on the paintwork which I can live with as it will be in the workshop where sooner or later everything gets a scratch or to, you could say they came 'pre-aged', so they didn't look out of place when installed. Some of the side parts were bowed along the length of the side, so needed straightening first, otherwise when I offered up the shelf only one end could be screwed in place as the other was about 4mm apart. 5 mm longer bolts would have solved that problem.I threw the parts together in a fairly random order, with no consideration to which way up the shelves should be or which way around, especially the tool holding shelf you will see the result in the pictures. To loosely assemble it took a little under 10 minutes, the final tightening using the supplied spanner and wrench would add to this. Now to the idea I had, and that was to leave out one of the tool shelves and mount that rack to the second, the main issue I encountered was the wire tool holder side, so I cheated and inverted it to see how the combination would work.My conclusion is that if I use 4 slightly longer bolts and 4 spacers about 5mm, I can put the wire tool holder the correct way up combine the two units increasing the storage space, and I have a nice little space on the wall waiting for it when it gets warmer.
