I have a LOT of battery candles that I use inside and outside and these are my favorite. The controller is excellent, I love the ability to control the brightness. I have bought 2 of these in different sizes and highly recommended them

The Candle is what I would consider average, it looks like a candle but is really just a long cylinder there is no attempt to make it look that it’s burning down, basically wax movement. It works, controlled by an on/off switch and the remote and you have the option of a steady flame or a slightly flickering version.The Candle has a twist bottom which opens to reveal places for 3 AA batteries and the on/off switch. I found the battery compartment too tight and consequently had difficulty clipping in the batteries and then twisting the base back on. This could be improved if the battery compartment was a little bigger.The Candle is waterproof, so out in the garden its probably ideal, but indoors and with closer inspection I would prefer a better formed candle that looked more like it was melting.

Nice size. Sturdy

It was very difficult to open the screw base .I managed to open it and close it but it fits very badly and does not turn as much to secure it in place as the ridges inside indicate it should.There is an on/off switch inside the screw base but thankfully I won't have to open and close it much as the remote control turns it on and off.Looking at some of the images in the listing I thought there would be some fake wax droplets to give more of an impression of a candle but it does not have these and some images are showing some water on it.As it is a very smooth design it looks better inside a lantern and at a distance.The wick part does not move unlike some other more realistic plastic candles.

The candle was the perfect size for my wreath and it was light enough to sit on the wreath. The only thing I didn’t like was the flame size, way too small for the candle.
