Gets stuck
After a couple rounds the repair prongs would get stuck and The release did not work. I had to manually pry the prongs out. I think just a little dirt would get inside and prevent it from opening. I have a number of the more typical two prong repair tools and that never happened with them. Also, from a practical point of view, the two prongs do a better job of repairing ball marks.

Not Terrific
I just bought this and was excited to try it out. I mow the greens of a local resort course on weekends and took it out with me. I had plenty of time to try it on pitch marks of different types. I was somewhat disappointed. This performs well enough on slight to moderate pitch marks and dents, just like in the video. However, it does not perform well on skid marks, deep pits, or any pitch mark where the grass is split, or pushed up aggressively. Overall, I felt it was not as good as my old standard tool. Maybe with a little practice I could get used to it, but if it isn't better why bother.

Awesome tool
I've been a user of the cylindrical shaped twister version of this tool for several years now and thought it worked great but this version is better in every way. It's super sturdy and fixes pitch marks easily with a simple stabbing motion rather than having to pull and pry with the normal two pronged tool.If you play on firm greens with sandy soil this tool is a no-brainer. It didn't work quite as well on Bermuda greens for me but it's still better than a normal two-pronged tool. The only way they could make this tool better would be to include a different, flatter ball marker. The one that comes with it has a rubber bulge on top that is great for custom branding, but it isn't particularly flat and if you try to tap it down a little with your putter it will inevitably stick to the bottom side of your putter and you'll have no idea where your mark is supposed to go. Until they fix this, I would just suggest that you replace their mark with your own favorite metallic one and you're good to go.

Silver Prongs = New Version, Black prongs = Old and weaker version
This tool has been updated!!! If you get one with black prongs, it means its the older, and indeed weaker version. The new version has silver, more square prongs and is much stronger. It works great! If you get the black one, keep swapping it out until you get the new silver one. This has been confirmed with the manufacture.

Slick design and unique functiion!
I waited until I've played several rounds with this to write a review, and overall, I'm satisfied with this divot tool. It's not going to change your life, but I find it to be a nifty little deal that makes repairing pitch marks quick and easy. Granted, it's nowhere near as easy as the videos would lead to believe, particularly on firmer greens, but it does work pretty well -- much better than the standard two-prong tools. I find it works best when put in with a bit of an angle and pried back out, rather than the vertical method advertised. I can't comment on the pencil sharpener as I haven't used it yet, but it is a cool feature. The tines have a bit of flex to them, and the flat, barb-like tips on the two prongs catch the green well; I have found mine to be durable, and have had none of the issues of the tines breaking or opening/closing mechanism failing that some other users have experienced, but time will tell. I've probably repaired 100 or so marks so far, and it;s still like new. It's also more convenient to carry in your pocket than any other divot tool I've had. Overall, I recommend this tool if you're good about not losing things, don't mind spending a little extra, and looking for that little extra incentive to carry a divot tool and hopefully repair your -- as well as others' -- pitch marks.

Fix Yer Ball Marks!
This works great and doesn't rip up the turf roots. Just jab it straight in and pull it straight out. The little barbs do the work. I'm guessing the reviews complaining that it broke were twisting it like a traditional fork type tool. Or their greens were very hard.

Buy this Ball Mark Repair Tool!
This is a wonderfully efficient tool for repairing ball marks on greens. It works better than the traditional "tee" or two prong repair tools that I have used in the past. Best of all, the repairs this tool makes leaves the repair mark almost invisible. Plus, it is faster than other methods. The included ball marker is nice. But the pencil sharpener is not all that effective because it is does not do a good job of sharpening pencils that have been sharpened by a machine, as most golf course pencils are.

Poor design. Broke after 4 rounds.
It lasted about 4 rounds before one of the tines broke off at the base, rendering it pretty much useless. Naturally, it was the tine you need to push on to fold the tines back in. Bad design and way over-priced. There are others on the market that are better for about half the cost. I won't buy another from Pitchfix. In fact, I've already returned this one and ordered a new one. Very disappointed with this. The other kind that has the two, wider/thicker tines is superior to this one. That's what I had before but lost it. I ordered a new one of those from another manufacturer.
