e.l.f. Squeeze Me Lip Balm, Honeydew

This lip balm keeps my lips feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated for hours without feeling sticky. The honeydew scent is light, fresh, and smells amazing. Honestly... I only purchased this to hit my same-day shipping total. I figured I'd use it eventually. So let me tell you how genuinely surprised I am that I like this lip balm as much as I do. And I'm not a lip balm person. Nor a fruity-cosmetics person. But this stuff is just... actually good. First of all, it's genuinely moisturizing. I have chronically dry, cracked, flaky lips that I'm always JUST keeping at bay. They have actually improved dramatically using this product. I never made a conscious effort to use it regularly - I just liked it enough to do so without realizing it. Then I woke up one day and noticed my lips weren't still garbage. It's the right amount weight - without feeling like you've globbed on petroleum jelly. It's the right amount of "sticky" to stay put - without feeling like you're peeling your lips apart to speak. I use it overnight, and when I wake up in the morning, I can still tell it's there - without feeling like there's something to wipe off my face. The aroma is actually pleasant - without demanding your attention every moment. It's definitely noticeable - but it's not as intense as products that I've tried in the past. It's not so strong that your mouth is watering at an overpowering sour/fruit smell. But it's actually nice enough that I find myself pursing my lips toward my nose to periodically get a sniff. 😂 I'm a regular e.l.f. customer. I appreciate the brand in general (good products, prices, ethics, PETA/Leaping Bunny certified, etc., etc.). But I figured... it's lip balm - it'll be fine but... whatever. And yet... I'm reaching for this every day. Multiple times a day. And not because of the rebound-dryness, lip-addiction that has been reported by other brands - just because it's enjoyable. Great product. Great price. Great company. Great surprise.

smells like an actual strawberry, not that fake candy perfume smell some of these have. texture is soft, glides on easy, no tugging or dragging. it’s giving hydrated lips, not sticky gloss-that-catches-your-hair situation. not a huge tint payoff, more of a your-lips-but-better situation, so if you want color you’ll layer something over it. but as a base or an on-the-go lip balm it’s doing its job.

She wanted all the colors for working hard during therapy, and they totally delivered that little dopamine hit. The strawberry one smells amazing, the tint is soft and pretty, and the hyaluronic acid makes it feel way more luxe than the price suggests. She loved having options, and it made the reward feel extra special. She landed on a 4.75/5 because the tint is very sheer, the hydration doesn’t last super long, and she had to reapply more often than she wanted — but overall, still a win. Solid 4.75/5 from her — moisturizing, adorable, and perfect for celebrating progress.

Really easy to apply and really smooth and there is a slight scent that is delightful but they where smaller than I expected but really good product for 8$ or 4$!

I never leave reviews but this is amazing, especially for the price. I live in Colorado and it’s DRYYYY this year and I can never find a lip balm that actually makes my lips feel hydrated. This one actually did the trick tho. And the scent/flavor isn’t super strong or overpowering. Will definitely be buying more of these

I’m partial to Elf lippies and this one is basic in the best way. It’s a thick but not sticky strawberry smelling balm with no flavour (which I personally hate flavoured lippies). The scent is classic, not overpowering and dissipates quickly. Texture is lovely, hydrating, protective and is nice on its own or over lipliner or lipstick. It’s basically colourless.
