I am taking it for promoting good sleep and joint health, but it has several other benefits to health and body.- B6 is added for absorption. The problem with supplements is not obtaining them or taking a high enough dose but getting the body to absorb them. It doesn't matter how much of a good thing you take if your body doesn't absorb it. The addition of B6 tells me that the formulation was well thought out.- No unnecessary or unhealthy additives. I don't see anything bad added to these capsules. I like that.- The price is nice. I like to boost my health without breaking the bank.The bad: Nothing so far. I have been taking it before bed daily, and it has been working great. I am happy with the product. No problems whatsoever.

These are easy to take supplements. They go down easy, the capsule size is not too large and does not stick in my throat. I like magnesium in it I'm a big fan of it. I feel that and everyday life magnesium is important for sleep and for maintaining bones and is a key element to have in my body. I use a lot of it since I go to the gym I feel I burn it out pretty quickly. Also working a physical job also demands that I have certain nutrients in my body in my opinion, and magnesium is certainly one of the top ones that I want to have. This is a good form of it and seems to be easy to swallow and easy on my stomach. Magnesium is said to be good for sleep so I sometimes take some before I go to bed.

This capsule is definitely smaller than the typical "horse pill", and thus is easy to take with a liquid.BOTTOM LINE: I like this magnesium product and the size of the tablet. Magnesium (from magnesium aspartate): 400 mg. and,2. Magnesium aspartate: 1335 mg.If, as is stated under “Supplement Facts,“ one serving (two capsules) contains 1335 mg. of magnesium aspartate, then one receives 132 mg. of elemental magnesium – NOT 400 mg. If one desires to imbibe 400 mg of elemental magnesium from magnesium aspartate, then one would have to ingest 4033 mg. of magnesium aspartate. Clearly, one does not receive 400 mg. from the claimed content of 1335 mg. of magnesium aspartate.I could speculate as to the discrepancy between the product claims and the known chemistry of magnesium aspartate. However, after all is said and done, I can only go by what the Supplement Facts label reports. And what it reports cannot be.I take magnesium (and potassium) to maintain normal (heart) sinus rhythm. The recommended daily allowance of magnesium for men is 420 mg. As noted on the label, one receives 1335 mg. of magnesium aspartate per serving, which is equivalent to 132 mg. of elemental magnesium – only.Based on these calculations of a known entity, I cannot recommend the Vitamatic magnesium aspartate simply because it cannot deliver what it claims per serving.
