Pour Over Coffee Dripper Stainless Steel Reusable Filter Paperless Cone Coffee Maker Dripper for 1-2 Cup

I'll preface this with, I am not a coffee connoisseur and I am a beginner in the pour over category. I'm just your average no-fuss, looking for convenience with less waste coffee drinker. I recently switched from making a pot of coffee each day to making a pour over cup on demand. Likes: - No waste - I was drawn to this model as I don't want to keep up on buying coffee filters and the single use of the filter - The look - I found the metal more aesthetically pleasing in my kitchen to plastic - Function - I like how I can see the water line in my cup while I'm pouring so I can adequately soak the coffee ground while not accidentally overfilling my cup - Water flow - I pour a slow steady stream from my electric tea kettle and the water flow through the cone matches with a steady consistent stream. - Size - The design fits all of the mugs in my cabinet from wide mouth to more narrow - Cleaning & durability - mostly I let the grounds dry, dump, rinse and reuse. Occasionally I'll throw it in on the top rack of the dishwasher. No complaints. - Value for the money - I found this to be a good value for my money. Simple yet effective design. - Taste - I really enjoy the taste of the coffee (see preface above) Critiques: - The black (plastic/silicon?) grip - The grip fell off after a few washes. I really don't miss it as I have no need to hold it while pouring the water and I don't find it too hot to handle once all the water has seeped through the cone.

Sturdy and durable. Easy to clean and use. It has mesh at the bottom instead of a hole like my previous pour over, so it can be a bit messier if you're using a cup/container with a narrow opening. Not an issue for a large coffee mug. Also, the little rubber gripper is constantly coming off, it actually got lost in my house. It's not a huge deal, but the edge does get hot, so I do wish it was permanently attached. Overall works the same as any pour over.

This is a brilliant design and well-executed. I put it to the test at a camp with multiple people using it in the morning for their coffee. Everyone was happy with it. It effectively filters coffee grounds. We made multiple pour-over coffees each morning with differing bean grind thicknesses and the double filter kept any grounds from getting through to our drinks. Coffee nerd specific info: The stainless steel material means there is no flavor imparted, so it made a superior pour-over compared to a paper filter. Also, with a pour over, you don't want the water flow rate to be too fast or you wont have long enough steeping time with the grounds to get the full flavor of the coffee extracted, but you also don't want it to be too slow or you'll get an over-extracted coffee. This filter did a great job and I think got a pretty ideal residence time. On the size of the basket - It is the right size for the job. I was hoping with I might be able to make more than one coffee at a time, and you certainly can make multiple 6oz servings at once, but probably not more than about 18 oz total. If you wanted to make a pot of pour-over coffee or something in the 60 oz territory, you'd need it to be gigantic in order to hold enough coffee and water for long enough to get good coffee out. That's not a fault of the product design really, it's just a limitation in pour-over coffee making. So this really is best for making 3 or fewer small servings of coffee, or one large serving. It was easier to clean than I expected. The instructions, double layer construction, and variety of cleaning tools provided all imply that it will be hard to clean and needs to be cleaned immediately, but I didn't find that to be true. When this got left out for half a day, it still cleaned right up with no issues, and no retained grounds. My only very minor gripe is that we lost the silicone handle cover immediately since it's not attached. However, that part of the basket doesn't really get too hot, so I think the silicone piece was not really needed to begin with. I will be taking this pour-over device and a manual burr grinder with me anytime I go car camping or on road trips, so we can have fancy coffee when out on adventures. I also am finding myself reaching for this instead of using the coffee maker in the mornings because it makes a superior cuppa.

I have been using it for a year now, and I can say that it is well made and is worth its price, but I can also say that you have to be really careful with cleaning it for the internal mesh not to break. It is very reusable, I use it almost everyday to brew my coffee and have never felt it change my coffee's taste for anything than just better coffee.

I love this filter! I was looking for a non-toxic way to make my coffee and this is perfect. It is easy to use and easy to clean. I put it over whichever cup/mug I'm using and pour my hot water from the kettle right over it! I use it very often. Amazing product especially for the price!

I use my pour over coffee dripper with Chicory. I love the ease of use and clean up is quick, I dump it and rinse right after using. The Chicory tastes better prepared this way as opposed to using a pod coffee maker. I pour the water slowly. So far I've been happy with this product. I've used it daily for over a month and haven't had any problems.

This pour over cone is great! I have only had it a short time, but have used it several times already. I use a medium grind coffee and this filter is fine enough that no 'sludge' remains in the bottom of my cup. Cleaning it is a breeze. The grounds release easily and pretty cleanly. I rinse under hot water or swish in the dishwater then rinse and it is ready to go. I use drip coffee maker, French press, and another pour over cone that uses paper filters. This one is my favorite.

These work quite well, however, cleanup is a mess if used without a paper filter. The only way to remove the grounds is to flush it with water. That sends coffee grounds down the drain, which I would prefer not to do on a frequent basis. I tried wiping them out, but made the mistake of wiping against the seam in the screen in the wrong direction. That lifted up the seam. It still works, but I decided to then use it in conjunction with a paper filter. That has not been an issue and cleanup is a snap.

I still prefer ceramis/paper filter, but if your travelling this won't break and it works pretty well.

I have been using this filter for exactly one month and it broke. Using and cleaning as described and the bottom just fell off. Disappointed
