The salt isn’t to much- full packet- not as tough to eat as some ridged crisps price just the same as other brands but great tasting ridge crisps and delivery great thanks

Yummy thick ridged crisps
I got a box of the cheddar and onion crisps - I’ve thought I’d never tried this brand before, so was excited to try them. Then realised they are Mackies rebranded under a new family name - and I loved Mackies crisps.I wasn’t disappointed - these are nice big thick cut crisps - they are a nice strong (not overpowering) mature cheddar taste with a nice hint of onion. Nice crispy crisps - but not rock hard crispy, and lovely with a dip, as they don’t fall apart when dipped. These aren’t your normal crisps, these are a luxury proper crisp, and I would definitely recommend.8 x 150gm packets in a box.

Good all-round crisp but a small note...
Ending up grabbing the salt and vinegar box and I'm glad I did, this are lovely. The seasoning is decently strong. Not Disco's level but I'd say equal to Kettle Chips. You get the initial bite from the salt and then a nice twangy aftertaste from the vinegar, exactly what you'd want from this option!Bag's were actually decently filled, not packed with air like you see with some options. 1 bag is easily enough to share between a family of 3-4 people I'd say. Great snack for movie night. My reasoning for deducting a star though is down to the texture. They're not unpleasant in this respect by any means. But they are definitely not as crunchy as I was expecting. Surprising as they looked quite thick. I was expecting a crunch level of a McCoy's but they are closer to Seabrook's. I guess this is more of a personal preference thing but for me, the crunch could have been stronger.Price at the time of writing is not the best either to be fair. Works out around £2.60 a bag and I've seen these for cheaper around. If you can grab these on a sale then more worth it.Overall though, these are solid crisps. Moreish and tasty. Exactly what you'd want from a snack! 4*!

Great Flavour and Quality
Great quality crisps. The flavour is lovely and strong, and very more-ish. The thick crinkle cut gives them extra crunch, and we found we didn't get as many small sharp bits at the bottom of the bag. This sharing size is great for us, as we enjoy these as a whole family. They're great for a movie night snack, to pack in a bag while on-the-go, or to put out at parties etc. Very tasty, would recommend.

Totally moreish!
Ive tried these in thick cut before and absolutely loved them. Crinkle cut is even better! I especially like the fact that these crisps are not too greasy. They have a beautiful potatoey taste and a good crunch! So very moreish. They are available in a variety of flavours. I opted for the classic sea salted crisps. Definitely crisps I'd reach for again!

Decent crisps
A very light golden colour, not overcooked, a reasonable crunch, a little on the oily side perhaps. The salt and vinegar flavouring is on the lighter side compared with many, though perhaps erring on the side of caution is better than overdoing it, especially with vinegar which can make you pucker up if overdone, and we all have too much salt in our diets as it is. Perhaps the lighter flavouring contributes to the feeling of them being a little on the oily side, with not quite so much vinegar to, as they say, 'cut through it'.
