Enamelware Mug, 24 ounce, Black/White Splatter (Set of 4)

I ordered 4 of these though the others turned out to be from a different supplier (it appears the same manufacturer though). They all have different colored rims so we can keep track of cups more easily when camping. They are sturdy and seem to be well made. The metal seems thick but not overly heavy & the enamel covers almost everything. The exception is on the inside of the handle (which has an edge that is rolled in) there are a couple voids in all 4 cups where the enamel didn't cover completely. They really just look like small holes & I will probably fill them with a bit of paint or sealant just to make sure they don't start to rust or anything. For the price I think they are really nice and I love the size. They would work for coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, or stew so I will save room in our kit by not having to include both mugs and bowls.

This mug holds a lot of liquid. It is a true 22 ounce cup; no messing around. Aesthetically, I guess it looks okay.The first cup of tea I made and drank from it was a little disappointing, b/c I didn't expect the handle to be so poorly insulated. But that cools down, and after all, you can't expect too much of the material. It's like a camping mug. No big deal.After the cup's first trip to the dishwasher, I was a lot more disappointed. There are now rust spots on the underside of the handle and at the seams, and the rim is gouged and scratched. As something that appears to be a rugged, jumbo camping mug, it should arguably be much sturdier.

I loved the way the picture looked but was worried because one reviewer said that the inside of the handle was not fully enameled. I contacted the seller, who said that the handle was fully enameled. I ordered -- the mug is much prettier even than the picture and holds a full 22 oz as advertised. I'm delighted. What a pretty item, very well made.
