**Q: How long can use a strip before it is necessary to reapply it? thanks**
A: I use it all night if you remove it carefully you can reuse it just save the backing you take off

**Q: Can you cut this to size? Like a few mm squares?**
A: Yes the tape can be cut to size

**Q: Does this tape block out the sun?**
A: I am sorry I have no idea, but you could always remove the tape, sunbathe and then put it back. If you wanted if to prevent sun burn I doubt it would be as effective as proper coverings or shade.

**Q: Would this still still after applying scar balm first daily?**
A: It doesn’t stick well to wet or greasy skin so as long as the skin was dry or had absorbed the balm it would work, or was on surrounding skin rather than where the balm is

I used this for a long delicate surgical scar on my knee. This is an area where abrasion from clothing and movement was a real nuisance! It felt raw. First I used the silicone scar dressings, which were OK but expensive and didn't last, then I just covered the scar with a strip of Siltape. It protected it and it stayed on even when I showered. To remove, you just pull from each end and stretch it off. As it stretches, it releases the skin without hurting.
