Smoky Mountain No Calorie Sweetener 16 Oz. Pack of 3

Sodium saccharin was discovered accidentally in the 19th century almost 150 years ago...with somewhat alarming origin as a derivative of coal tar. I'm an old geezer that used sodium saccharin for years before it was banned due to a fictitious cancer scare. I remember seeing news reports that to match the equivalent amount given to lab rats, the average person needed to drink 800 saccharin-sweetened diet sodas EVERY day. Later experiments showed that saccharin did not have the same effect in humans as it had in rats, and the ban was lifted for good in 2000. Today, saccharin has been found to be one of the safest sweetener to use.Since I remember the old saccharin to have a "diety" aftertaste with a tendency to turn bitter when cooked, I switched to aspartame (Equal) then finally settled on sucralose (Splenda) for years. Because of Splenda's way higher cost compared to saccharin, I decided on a whim to try saccharin again via Smokey Mountain. WOW! I was shocked. Sweeter than sucralose with absolutely no aftertaste. I'm so happy to have "rediscovered" this sweetener. You can say that I have come full circle back to saccharin, and I will stay with Rocky Mountain as it is responsibly priced, the product is faultless, and just simply amazing.TIP: To vastly improve control in dispensing, do NOT cut the tip of the nozzle to open it. Use a sharp ice pick type tool, or thick needle to puncture the tip. You'll have a very thin stream that is very forgiving, and provides sufficient control to count drops. For me, my coffee is sweetened perfect;y to my liking with 3 quick squirts. ツ

I like it because it does not have an after taste. I have been using it for years. Great for liquids, especially because it dissolves immediately. I will always use this brand.

This is by far the best sweetener I have found. I use it in my freshly squeezed lemon water every day. It doesn't leave a nasty aftertaste like many others do.

I use it in my Coffee

I like the product itself but I do not like the fact that after you snip the top off you don't have a cap to put on it. Instead of leaving it open, I put a piece of aluminum over the opening. It should come with a cap.
