Great service from the supplier
9th July 2024 - Update - good newsI had a small glitch with this device (which I really like) and contacted them, like I did before. They were truely marvellous. Over a few days the support they gave was terrific and now everything is working as it should. It is quite unusual these days to get such good customer service. If you want to buy one of these really small, well specified mini PC's, then get it from these guys. Their customer service is really, really good. After using a few old laptops I got feed up with waiting for windows 10 to stop using all the disk and all the memory and meantime being slow at everything I wanted to do. So I decide to buy this little fella. I am very pleased. I do not do gaming, I am mostly browsing and using Word and or Excel. I do have a IP Camera security Application that runs all the time (minimum 3 live camera feeds) and it does not seem to affect the performance at all. There are a couple of silly things that I would like it to be able to do. I would like to be able to turn off the lights (network connection and on/off light) but I cannot find a way to do this. The manual was more how to get it running rather than what you can do with it.Update -- I had a problem with a windows 11 update. After it had tried to apply the update it was stuck in the windows repair loop and I could not get it started. I used cmd command and found that there was a disk error/bad sectors and thought that I may have to buy a new SSD disk. But I loaded Ubuntu onto a usb stick and used it to clear the disk problem. So disk was okay but windows would still not go past the windows repair loop. I contacted the seller and they were very good. I was outside the warranty period but nonetheless they contacted me immediately and offered help. In the end I made a usb windows install media and installed windows all over again. That eventually fixed everything. The supplier gave me a Windows 11 licence key when I asked for one. I have this now just in case Windows decides to ask for a licence key at some stage. Oddly, when I was stuck in the repair loop, I got out an old laptop that I had not used for 3 months. It had a hard disk failure which was strange as it was working (slowly) when I put it away. I used the Ubuntu stick to check everything else was okay and after about 4 hours use, in Ubuntu, the hard drive suddenly started working again. I am currently scanning the drive as it has errors, but it and windows 10 are back working on it. And more strange is that another Windows 10 laptop of mine had a Windows update a few weeks earlier and afterwards Windows would not upload and that hard drive had failed. I think there is some corruption with a Windows 10 and Windows 11 update out there. So, if you have similar symptoms, run Ubuntu from a USB stick and use it to fix your disk errors before thinking you drive is toast and you have lost all the data on it.So despite microsoft's mess up I remain very happy with this mini pc. And I was very reassured that the seller replied to my messages, offered help and kept in touch whilst I worked around the problem microsoft created, even though I was well outside the warranty window.

Great mini computer
As an IT engineer i purchase these for my customers, excellent value and more than enough power from a small footprint case.Virtually silent and runs cool with a good storage capacity.

Very Small and Mighty - Perfect for Home Labs
I was looking for something to upgrade my Raspberry Pi4. To run HomeAssistant on. Which i use heavily to automate almost everything around the home. The Pi5 was a good contender, but was costly once you factor in the SSD, case, fan PSU etc.So, I thought about a NUC. May talk about using old NUCs for HAOS. Looking on Amazon I found this Gen12 MiniPC. 16Gig of RAM and 512GB SSD. For less than the Pi5 would cost me and be way overkill for running only HomeAssistant. But wait, I have enough power to run virtualised HomeAssistant and run other things too. Such as internet filtering (AdGuard). Here came ProxMox, an open source virtual platform. This Mini PC has plenty of power to run virtualised computers, as seen above, I have 2 running and not even making a scratch on resources this mini PC offers.Build quality was good, its small and runs on a 12v PSU under 30W. Which opens the door to powering this from PoE 802.1at.The unit is quiet, has all the connections I need, in particular Gb Ethernet, to connect into my home network.Wifi 6 was a bonus, which I can use to create a sandbox Wifi environment for testing. The device came pre installed with Windows, so before re-imaging with ProxMox, I booted up windows and copied off the licence key. As i will use this later to re-install Windows, but in a virtualised way.Allowing this little PC to do way more than just windows.Happy customer.

great for a Linux home server
Brought to make as a new home server to be left on all of the time since it is low pwer (around 20 watts). Also took a gamble to see if a 4TB NVME drive is recognised and useable. It is !now makes a great home server running Apache, Samba, Plex and Teamviewer.Stores over 1600 films, all of the family pictures, all network shares and personal folders unique to each user.never underpowered and the 16GB of ram never gets pushed.Picture shows mini pc connected to a 7 inch touch screen with Linux Tuxedo OS

Great Service, Great Product
This is a great product, very quiet yet very powerful, I use it as a secondary PC in my Home office and didn't want something that took up a lot of space yet performed well when crunching large amounts of data, job done.I did have a slight problem in that it came with Windows 11 Home and I needed Windows 11 Pro 64 bit. The Nipogi support team were great and within 48 hours provided me with what I needed to upgrade and install Windows 11 Pro 64 bit, Thank you Nipogi.
