I bought this to go into an extension socket that has a couple of its own USB sockets, but not enough. Also, one of them had stopped working. This plug is a bit taller than, say, a transformer plug, but I didn't need it to be flatter. Our exension is facing upwards with nothing blocking it, so no problems there. It is also pretty slim, so only a bit wider than the USB slots themselves. The only gripe is that it is not as hard to push and pull it in and out of the socket. I prefer these things to have more resistance to knocking. That said, it hasn't dislodged enough to cause a problem. So far, I have a USB security camera (Elf) plugged into it and it's working brilliantly. I have not tried to charge anything via this plug, but all the sockets are working for power so far. If I run into any problems charging or if any of the USB sockets die on me, I will update. At this time, though, I would fully recommend. Bargain price for the number of sockets and the sockets also light up when powered by the mains, so we can always see if it's connected or has been knocked. Very useful adapter. Buy it.

Best charger I have found. I originally purchased one for a friend who was having trouble charging her phone. She was so pleased with it that I purchased one for myself, and can verify that it does what it says on the tin. Subsequently I have purchad two more of these chargers, for friends with a similar "phone charging slowly" problem, and the problem has gone. I must point out that it does not matter how good your charger is if your charging lead is sub standard and you will not notice the difference that a good charger makes. Some people have mentioned the blue light that can be seen around the charging ports. I don't find this a problem, as the glow is not that bright, but you can always put the unit out of sight or place something in front of it.

Looks fine. Bought as a present so cannot comment on useability, but no complaints.

Perfect and very useful

I used this multi port usb charger as soon as I collected it last night. It seemed to work well. I managed to charge my power banks and wireless earbuds within reasonable time. I like the fact that it has blue lights on while using it, so I know exactly where it is when my room is dark. It also comes in handy when I travel somewhere since it is small, easy to carry. I hope it will last long.
