Good quality
This is a handy tool to have, it's very well made and love being able to use as volt meter or just being able to see how much current is on any hot wire. Love the case makes it a nice addition to the collection!!

Limited use and not terribly accurate
For what this is, it's ok, and may have certain applications where it's handy, but frankly I'm not seeing any case where I would prefer to use this meter over a regular DMM. In fact, having the meter integrated in one probe end makes for more conditions where I might not be able to see the readout at all. The kit does come with a collection of different clips and probes which adds some versatility and that's why I didn't rate it lower, even though I'm not particularly impressed with the meter itself. However, as you can see, the meter reads several tenths low at 13.5V. That may be due to it getting its power from the voltage you're trying to read instead of needing batteries. While, again, that may be convenient if you're always forgetting to turn off your meter and can't keep batteries from being dead, I can't say that's really ever been an issue for me. It also limits the range at which the meter can read, since the voltage has to be high enough to power the unit.
