Absolutely no regrets, amazing comfort and quality, breathable and lightweight, highly recommend for anyone who wants a daily wear hat

I have owned all types of material and different style cowboy hats. J Aldean (Mexican Palm) hats in my opinion are the very best. I live in FL so it is HOT summers , pretty much all year.Felt / Fur hats working outside is out of the question. I have never liked the white plastic feeling cowboy hats either (they don’t last me a summer with the sweat I pour). Before the leather bands they come with just get destroyed and lets the sweat run down into my eyes and burn. Plus they are so thin. Feels like the sun beats right thru them making my head hot.This JA (Mexican Palm hat) on the other hand contains all the sweat , gives my head better protection against the sweltering sun , better then those really thin - plastic feeling hats.The hat arrived quickly and properly packaged to avoid damages. I immediately open it up and run the brim under water. Then shape it to my desire. The last one I had I wore for 7 years , and to tell you the truth. It is still holding up nicely for its age. A few times a year I take the hat and put it in the bath tub , add warm water and some Dawn soap and clean it thoroughly using my fingers and a rag. Working all the old sweat and dirt out , keeping it from smelling. Then I shape , bend and mend it back to my style and let dry on my head.So if you are on the fence about this style / brand / material hat. Jump off the fence and buy. You won’t be disappointed !!!!They look great - Awesome , I get compliments all the time when I wear these Aldean hats.I also have the Black (night train) (Mexican Palm) hat too. I wear the black one when I dress up and go. Also at night when I hit the bars. The ladies love it.So buy the hat Bubba - I wear 7 3/8 , I get size Large Fits me perfectly.

**Update**So my 2019 update:The hat is still intact, however, the brim has completely gone flat and has lost its shape. I will attempt to reshape it with my steamer. Hopefully the steamer does the trick because this is a great everyday/work hat.**end update**First off, the reseller of this hat packed it perfectly. The hat itself has a little stiffness to it but not too much and the fit is perfect (snug but not tight.) I have 7 1/8 sized coconut and ordered a large and it fits perfect. I'll probably buy another one because I bought it for working outdoors and I can already tell I'm going to wear this thing out because I love it.

Cheaply made. Runs large.

Fit as expected and arrived well packaged and the price was right.
