SQ Professional 2 Tier Dish Drainer Rack with Drip Tray (Metallic Black)

I bought the chrome one, nicely made, solid construction (after build), smart & plenty of room for washing up.

This looks great in our kitchen!It’s good value for money, especially since some 1 tiered drainers are the same price.The top tier could do with being a little deeper, I feel I have to be careful and ensure the plates I put on there are steady as I slot them in.The glasses holder works ok, but again I have to be careful when leaving glasses on there...I find myself wobbling them when placing them on to ensure they won’t fall off. But maybe that’s just the norm...not sure I see what more could be done to ensure they would be secure with the design.None have fallen off as yet, but I do always wobble them a little before leaving to dry.The tray is easiest enough to pull out and clean, so no complaints there.Time will tell as to whether rust will build up with it being metal.I feel I can’t win with that one, as I had a plastic one prior to this...and that just got full of mildew and hard to clean, so maybe just a case of regular cleaning. I like that this wasn’t immediately sitting on the draining board, as my last plastic one was, and the amount of mildew that would build up due to it all getting stuck, was unbelievable and horrid!One to be careful of is the fact that the glasses bit is not fully attached, so can come off of not careful, same with the cutlery holder...I’ve knocked the cutlery holder off a couple of times so far!! Not the end of the world with cutlery...but with glasses or mugs, it’s a different story!The Nana in the family has requested I buy one for her, so they must look nice and impressive, so I’d recommend, but just be careful with it.

Received this product today. It looks great and was easy to assemble. An improved design on a similar old one I've had for years and which has been robust and holds a lot of items.

Easy to build good quality alot of space good fit and functional

This is the third dish rack of this particular design that I have had The first one had heavier metal frames and racks and a fully plastic cutlery holder. Had it for many years before it rusted and was replaced by a similar design but far inferior. The frames and racks were made of thinner steel tubing and rod and the cutlery holder was made of a wire frame basket with a plastic base. Not suitable as the cutlery tended to slip through the gaps in the basket. This one eventually also rusted and so I replaced it with this latest version. The solid plastic leg supports are now made up of four small clip on feet which are totally useless as they keep turning over with the slightest movement of the rack. The cutlery basket is still made of wire BUT most disappointingly is that the metal tubing making up the frame was advertised as being made of aluminium but is not. Still just steel which will rust. And now for some reason, the plates do not sit firmly on the rack. If this is all a cost cutting exercise by the manufacturers then why not just drop the drip tray which I do not need as the rack sits over my draining board. I would gladly have paid a little extra for a better quality item, unfortunately I bought a couple of other designs but they did not fit under my kitchen cupboards so in desperation I went back to a design that I knew would suit.

I had one of these before (bought elsewhere) and it lasted several years, but due to a design fault with the plastic feet, the metal part that sat in the feet rusted away. I bought a different two tier dish drainer to replace it, but it was nowhere near as good as my original. It wasn't tall enough for a large mug or tumbler. I've now got rid of that one and bought this one instead.I have to say this one is brilliant. Just as good as the original but with a modification to the plastic feet. There are two little feet on each side of the drainer, which means they can be easily moved to fit a wonky draining board and the metal (hopefully) will no longer go rusty. It holds lots of dishes of different shapes and sizes, as well as glasses, mugs and my steamer and saucepans.

So I've only had mine for a couple of weeks but so far no rust like others have reported. There is a slight wobble to it but nothing that makes me think it's unstable. I don't trust the drinks holder on the side as only gravity holds it in place so I don't use that. It looks good and is an excellent space saver in my kitchen (I also like the drip tray). If you are in two minds I would say go for it, it's only £12 and if you are like me you will like it. As far as assembly goes you line up the sides with the base and bold on 8 nuts to the 8 holes, a bit tricky but not too difficult, takes about five minutes. One of the nuts would not fully tighten as there was an issue wit the thread but overall construction remains rigid.
