CARAVAN MOTORHOME PROPANE PIGTAIL HANDWHEEL GAS HOSE CONNECTOR 450mm

I ordered this pigtail gas hose for use with 3.9kg propane bottles. The current connection needs a spanner and it's a fiddly job a confined space which isn't helped by the bottle being reverse-threaded which I usually forget. Too many times I have scraped my knuckles on the bottle so I ordered this hoping it would be an easier solution - and it is.It was fitted in minutes and screws into the bottle so easily, a perfect fit with no leaks. Gas bottle changeover takes just a couple of minutes and is no longer a frustrating procedure. It needs to be screwed tight but even with my fairly weak hands I have had no difficulty at all. My only regret is that I didn't change it over years ago.For anyone hesitating about switching to this method - don't hesitate. It's a quality hose and mine was dated 2017.Brilliant purchase - and I would never revert to the spanner fitting.

Much quicker and easier to use than a knuckle knocking spanner!!.However it is a good safety idea to put a warning label, as it would be easy to turn the wrong hand wheel and release the connection!

Still to fit this item but it looks well made and with the knurled wheel nut, saves having to find and use the old spanner.

Just about to order a second one. Ideal for use with Safefill Gas Cylinders. They are much easier to mount and dismount for refilling with this connector.

arrived in good time, easy to install, spanner needed for the initial install but not again for cylinder change. would recommend initial install by competent person for peace of mind.
