AirHawk2 'Cruiser Medium' Inflatable Seating System. Supreme Comfort!

The trick with this seat is to have it much less inflated than you think is necessary. Initially, I was squirming around on the seat trying to compensate for the air underneath me. I subsequently found that by reducing the amount of air to what seems like non-existent was perfect. It lifts the backside just a couple of millimetres above the harder seat and makes for a much better level of comfort. If you need proof, I rode 440 miles in less than 16 hours and felt absolutely fine. Well worth the expense and definitely a must for all tourers out there.

I bought this as after about 50 miles on my bike my backside gets sore.This is a quality product. It takes a bit of trial and error to work out how much air is optimum for comfort, as too much air means you are sitting about an inch higher and sliding around alot.Since buying the AirHawk seat I haven't suffered from a sore backside :-)There is a negative though. The product can be easily stolen if left on the bike. Not an issue for me as I have a garage both at home and at work, however this will be an issue for some people.Quality of the product is high. It looks like it will last for years.

It took a little while to adjust the Airhawk to the right inflation for me and I had to stop three or four times to let more air out. However after a couple of rides it is now just right for me and a two hour non- stop ride home from Southampton resulted in no numb bum at all! Looking forward to using it when I go touring around Europe next summer - it should make a big difference to how I feel at the end of a long day in the saddle!

The air seat enabled me to endure the excruciatingly painful seat on my VFR 800 for longer than normal. I have yet to try it for several consecutive long journeys, but I am pleased with the comfort so far.

I ordered this for my 2012 Honda Transalp as I couldn't get on with the seat due to a squashed perineum. (Google it if you need to) It is an absolute doddle to fit and the instructions are equally easy to follow. It took a couple of decent runs to get it just right for me but that is to be expected. The instructions are very accurate in what they say is the almost optimum inflation amount. This product fits the seat just fine and does not look intrusive or out of place. I can now enjoy long runs again without having to stop and adjust myself. I would not hesitate to recommend this to friends.

recommended for long journeys 50 miles plus. I like it but I haven't used it long enough to assess longevity of preferred inflation pressure.

This is my second one of these.had the first one for years with no problems.I wish I had known about these before spending twice as much on a gel seat.they do exactly what they say on the tin.if you have problems with numb bum on longer rides then this is your answer. Ive also used mine as a cushion on hard benches. You need to be aware that they do add some height to your existing seat.
