Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden decide to go and find out why everyone is leaving Moominvalley. Soon they find out that the reason for the sudden escape is a comet that is known to hit the ground any day now. Even the Moomin family heads towards a cave to stay safe. Eventually, the alarming event is prevented by the forces of nature - the comet doesn't hit Moominvalley (the whole story in the book of 'Moomintroll and the comet'). The Moomins are the central characters in a series of books and comics by Swedish-Finn illustrator and writer Tove Jansson. The loveable Moomin's are a family of carefree adventurous trolls who live in Moominvalley with their many friends. The Arabia artist Tove Slotte-Elevant has designed these delightful Moomin objects in keeping with the original drawings.
