I got these to wear when using hot rollers. That little shock when accidentally touching the wrong spot or needing to hold a roller long enough to get the hair wrapped correctly, lead to this purchase. They have protected my fingers as I'd hoped, but they are a little awkward for getting a good grip on my hair. The loss of tactile feedback is frustrating. So although they get the job done, I don't actually LIKE wearing them. But I don't like getting burned fingertips more.

The item arrived on, or before, scheduled delivery. They were two, brand new, gloves. I have not used them, yet, so I don't know if they will stand up to my 450 degree flat iron. I don't anticipate a problem.
