Good to go
Got my Barista Pro secondhand and it didn't come with the rubber gasket for back flushing the machine. This works perfectly.

☕️Backflushing couldn't be simpler☕️
I have a breville barista pro and for some reason they ship with a backflush plug that has a pin hole in the center. This defeated the purpose of a backflush.Using this portafilter basket makes backflushing simple. You can pop out your normal basket and pop this one in no problem. It does have a little more space between the rim of the portafilter and the basket than my other baskets, but it doesn't cause any issues with performance. In fact, I actually prefer the extra space as it makes swaping the basket easier. If you've picked up another portafilter for your machine, you could pop this into to include portafilter and use it solely for backflushing! I'll be doing this once I pick up a second portafilter.Considering plugs are just as expensive as this basket, it makes a ton of sense to pick this up if you don't mind swapping baskets. The plugs can wear out over time. A metal basket will not!

Fits Breville Infuser & Barista Express
I have two Breville espresso machines - the Infuser, and the Barista Express. They're similar - the main difference is that the latter has a built-in grinder. Both machines use the same size portafilter, which takes 54mm "inserts".To clean these machines, you need to backflush (you don't backflush if you're descaling - only when you're cleaning). The backflush requires that the group head outlet be completely blocked. You can do this by snapping the single-cup basket into the portafilter, then installing a rubber disk that acts as a barrier, add a cleaning tablet, and put the portafilter onto the group head. However, unless you place the rubber disk exactly correctly, it can "leak" a bit, as the high pressure can cause hot water to bypass the rubber disk. This blank insert prevents that problem. Snap it (instead of the single cup basket) into the portafilter, add a cleaning tablet, load it onto the group head, and start the cleaning process. Works like a charm.
