I use these brushes all the time and they work well! They're easy to use, easy to clean, and very soft. The storage/travel bag is also very convenient and good quality! It's worth the money.

I haven't used mine yet, since I just got it yesterday but it's a gorgeous set & for the price, extremely worth itAnd I'm severely confused about the horrible Chemical smellWhat smell?????? There isn't one & nothing was brokenI'm beginning to believe women who buy these products complain just to have something to complain about & then, return it just to get a refundWhere I work, there are many people who order items not only from Amazon but other places, open the box, look at the items, then, decide to return them for a refundWhy order something online in the first place if you didn't truly want it???????You women are beyond CRAZY & need to stop ordering

Although you pay for what you get, I was EXTREMELY SATISFIED with what I received. I received the brushes as scheduled and they came in a plastic shipping bag that was wrapped properly; so that was encouraging as to the quality of the brushes. THE BRUSHES (10 out of 10) were individually wrapped in plastic and they were already in their individual slots in the case. Also, the fan brushes came with a harder plastic cover that preserved their shape. The brushes felt soft, full, and durable. Because I had read reviews about the brushes being delivered damaged and shedding, I stress tested each and even tried to pull out hairs by grasping them with my nails. The brushes didn’t fall apart and the hairs on the brushes remained in place; most surprisingly, the fan brushes did not shed. THE CASE (8 out of 10) is made of a smooth material; similar to a very very faux leather feel (lol), which I liked because it makes it easy to clean, it has a flap at the top that acts like an added protection for the brush heads, and the case snaps closed. What I would have liked was if the case had a harder outer covering so that if I were to throw them in a suitcase I wouldn’t have to worry about them getting smooshed. However, that’s really not a reason not to purchase. If you need some brushes or just want to add to your collect; like me, YOU HAVE TO GET THESE! I was seriously blown away and you will too.

As I was testing the hairs, a little dust flew off. Just as a general rule of thumb, wash new brushes. The bag smells strongly of wall paint. I don't know if it's because of the bag, but the brushes have a faint smell too. The bag is like a faux leather material, and the brushes are very light weight. I'm not really too fond of the design, but that's more of a me problem.Note*: Ignore the three brushes at the top. They don't come in the package.After having washed them, they're still soft and fluffy. There was a miniscule amount of shedding. The brush handles stayed in tact. Some brushes I'm not quite sure how to use, like the tiny pointy one. Also would not recommend using the sponge brushes (seen at the end) because I doubt you would be able to clean them well without tearing them. Sponges are more prone to mold too, so just be careful. The bigger ones aren't too densely packed with hairs, but you get what you pay for. I also washed the bag and the smell came off. I used a soap that smelled strongly of eucalyptus and mint. Don't put too much soap or you'll be rinsing it for a long time😅I'm a beginner in makeup and I don't have a lot of money to spend on brushes, so these will do for me.

Three stars is honestly the most fair review I can give, for the following reasons:-Quantity/Quality: there are a really good variety of brushes, a few are repeats, but they are brushes you’ll likely use a lot anyway. The feel of them is a very cheap feel, however the bristles are soft and aren’t falling out on me.-Smell: it does have a strong chemical, paint thinner type odor, but that it to be expected of cheap brushes likely manufactured in a cheap Chinese factory. I washed mine with body wash, and the brush smells fine now. I’m just going to throw the case out though, can’t get the smell out of it. None of the brushes arrived broken though.-The case: made of a super cheap, vinyl-esque material, can’t get the smell out of, and just don’t particularly like it.-Price: you definitely get what you pay for. Like, definitely don’t expect a set of morphe brushes for $15. They are decent. And they’d be great for beginners, or kids/tweens.Overall, I’m happy with my purchase, and while I wouldn’t really recommend this to anyone bc of the smell, the smell can be gotten rid of.

Nice set of brushes in a neat carry case that keeps everything clean and organized. And a great gift for beginners.
