This lamp is super bright, putting out over 88k lux/lumens at about 3” from the bulb. At 24”, it’s still at about 15k lux, which is incredible. The stand is super sturdy, the lamp head is adjustable, and it doesn’t look like a grow light, which is a definite plus. Will be buying a second one for my office.

Not a paid review FYI. I'm not a professional grower but I've used many indoor LED lights (they do burn out) and this one is great so far. I use this + a vertical floor light for a few giant plants I have that need tons of light (10' rubber tree and a 7' snake plant) PROS: 1) Extremely sturdy and well built, it is HEAVY. 2) Has a weighted circular base which is great because A) it takes up less floor space, and B) you can put it on something to raise the height. 3) It's very bright -- but not as blindingly bright as some reviews have said. 4) Super easy to assemble, you just screw it together, and connect the power cord to the light which takes 5 seconds. 5) Aesthetically it's nice, because it only has one big light source and one cord -- basically looks like a black lamp. CONS: For me, it's only that you can't adjust the height, so if you have plants taller than 5', which I do, you'll need to put it on something if you want top light. OVERALL: This is as bright an indoor light you can get without moving to one of those professional hanging grow lights which would turn your house into a blinding nursery. If you have a nursery-type greenhouse though, I would get a hanging light.

This thing is the brightest lamp I could find on here and it isn't even more expensive than units half as strong. It has a timer function as well.It's *so* bright, I think it can actually double as mood lighting to combat seasonal affective disorder (if you're buying it to combat low light conditions for your plants, they probably affect you as well).The lamp itself is sturdy and stands upright and straight despite it being heavy. Seems like the best value if you have multiple plants.There is no brightness setting. It may be too bright for you. I am considering setting it to feed my plants sunlight while I'm asleep as it's almost too bright during the day for me. A brightness setting would make this product 6 stars. I'm giving it 5 because for the price it's pretty awesome.

Base came scratched, lamp head was NOT WIRED to the lamp, the lamp cord looks like a middle school electronics project, and the light doesn't have a dimming feature. Seriously. For the price paid, it would be reasonable that he electrical components were wired together by the manufacturer. Definitely returning this hot mess.

I wasn't a big fan of the built in timer because I wanted a more customized experience where it's on multiple times a day. I had a smart plug lying around because I got a 4 pack. I can confirm that when you plug it in, it defaults to on, so presumably a loss of power would cause it to turn on one it's restored.It was important to me that it defaults on so I could just set a schedule to supplement natural light in the morning and evening.It is bright enough that it could probably give you a headache, so I wanted it to be on when I am away more than when I am home.In terms of unboxing and assembling it, I was initially disappointed because one of the threads was significantly crooked, so I thought I'd have to return it or remove a pole and make it shorter, but I put a little force on it and it bent enough where eventually I got it straight and could fully twist it together. That said, it gives me some amount of caution in terms of recommending it to others, but it was probably a fluke and all the other pole pieces were fine.I am excited to see how my plants improve with this light as these short winter days were taking a toll on them. It seems like a solid lamp.

The lamp is exactly as stated. Great lamp for the money. Heavy base, easy to assemble. I needed to contact the seller and they got back to me within the day I sent message. Super efficient and fast responses. Made the transaction perfect. I would definitely recommend and will be purchasing from this company again.

Since it just arrived today and I was anxious to get it up and running, I have no clue, yet, how successful it will be for providing the right light to my plants. I will say that it IS heavy, very heavy. It was almost too heavy to screw the poles into the base for this senior grandma! The instructions say, "start at the bottom". Well, when you start at the bottom and get to the "head" you have excess cord that needs to be pulled through and that didn't go too well so I had to unscrew the first pole next to the base, where the cord comes out and then pull it through. It was very heavy so screwing those poles in evenly was a challenge because if they are not screwed in straight, the pole isn't straight!!! Now that I've got it up and running, it has, indeed replaced two wobbly floor grow lights so that is a plus. The span of light seems to be good too. So, we will see how it ultimately works out. So, far, its looks like it's going to work. If it does, I will order a couple more to replace those wobbly other floor lights. I have not used the timer function yet.

Light is bright but the stand is wobbly. And it defaults to off, so it doesn't work with smart plugs.
