Tala 10B02011 Mixing Bowl, Blue/Cream

I am a tried and true Mason Cash bowl lover. I love their designs and sizes. I have many of their bowls. What I don't love however, is how they make up with silver scratches if you use an electric mixer in them. I purchased this Tala bowl because I have a few other Tala products and like them. I wasn't expecting much but really liked the color and size so decided to go for it. This bowl is outstanding! It is heavier than Mason cash and has a thicker glaze. There is a flat edge if you need to tip and mix or scrape. The best part is I have used it mercilessly to mix in and no scratches or marks anywhere! It cleans easy and is stunning. I LOVE this bowl and plan to get the next size up. The only thing I wish is that you could get Tala bowls in different designs and colors. You won't be sorry with this lovely bowl.

Pro: Fast service from Amazon. Super good packaging. Beautiful blue bowl with yellow interior. Con: Ruined bowl on first use with spoon and mixer. I did not know you cannot use metal instruments. Inside all scratched up. My fault. I will be throwing it away.

Love my bowl, reminds me of my childhood in the 50's although the one we had was beige on the outside not blue. Very easy to clean and dishwasher safe, although that's not necessary after my granddaughter has had her fingers round it!I've only given 1 star for "lightweight" because, obviously, it isn't, but you wouldn't want it to be so I thought that was an unnecessary question. Also "durable", well yes of course, unless you drop it!!!!

I love this, really nice nostalgic look & feel to it, and feels heavy, robust & well-made. Absolutely good VFM, although if you have time an antique shop might have the same thing but more "unique. I really like this - colour, weight and construction are great.

This met our expectations and we shall be buying some more as presents. Very nice finish and colour.

I was really pleased when this mixing bowl arrived, washed it before my first use, when I dried it , I noticed a crack right down the bowl , inside and out , I can’t return it , because I’ve thrown all the packaging away .So I can’t use it in the oven and I dare not put it in the dishwasher.

This is a very useful sized bowl, great for cake and meringue making. It feels like a good quality product and is a decent weight and size. The blue is a great retro shade and looks lovely wit the contract inside colour. I purchased it for my daughter as a surprise gift as she is a Great British Bake Off fan and she loves it.
