All of these bigger plush toys come packaged with the air sucked out of them. It takes a couple of days for the stuffing to fully expand. I gave mine a few hours of morning sun outside for a couple of days, fluffing it now and then. It plumped right back up to its sharky shape.Mine has two of its teeth pointed straight out instead of down. Gives it a lot of character. LOLThe construction is good, the zipper is soft and tucks away so it won't scratch you or your children. Mine didn't have any kind of plastic smell from being vacuum packed, but airing it out probably is a good idea.The shark is well loved and has been adopted as a member of the family.

My 4 year old loves his shark. Just like everyone says, it is weird that it comes out of the packaging like a brick, but with time it is a perfect shark. It was practically the size of my 4 year old. He loves what he calls his "Shark Potato."

Looking at the shark on display who wouldn’t want one. Looks huge and solid. I ordered the frog and it was packaged the same way, it was put in compact seal proof Packing. Extremely hard to open and when you do get it open the item looks all shriveled. The stuffing is not sufficient for such a large stuffed animal. You have to redistribute the stuffing to get the animal to look half way decent. I returned it. When i received the shark I returned it without even opening it knowing what I would be in store for. Shame they look great on amazon .

Arrives flatter than I could ever imagine, after about a week it’s pretty decently stuffed. It does take some time for the stuffing to recover but otherwise great! Soft plushy fur. Can’t argue with it

11" is smaller than I expected but so cute!! I loved it so much I bought different colors for my sister's kids

The media could not be loaded. When it arrived, it was understuffed but I cut a hole in it and added more stuffing so it's less flat now. The colors are as expected, and overall--its pretty good. The video was taken after adding more stuffing, by the way.
