Just had may doctor's visit and I do not go back for 6 months, he suggested that I not have a cardiac Caterization done as it is not necessary after having open heart surgery back in 2012. I walk a mile daily only not walking if it rains. I am almost 85, so the Lord and my vitamins help.

I've taken ashwagandha on and off for several years, taking breaks now and then. I find it most helpful with stress reduction and encouraging sleep, but the latter has waned as I've grown more accustomed to it I suspect. This brand is new to me along with the dose of 3000mg, and that has brought back sleepiness if I take it about an hour before bed. I haven't experienced any negative side effects and the capsules are easy to swallow with liquid. The bottle was sealed internally and externally to indicate no tampering occurred and also to preserve freshness.

This is the first time I have tried ashwagandha. I have heard so much about its calming effect and benefits with lowering cortisol levels. In the few weeks that I have used this product, I have noticed less worry and agitation. I have noticed that I can fall asleep easier, which has been a struggle since menopause.I have found that if I take one daily (1500 mg) I am already noticing improvement where needed.I am happy with the ingredients, being gluten free and Non GMO. The quality and size of the supplement are good and it’s a very easy to swallow capsule. Price is good, especially since each capsule is 1500mg.

I picked up this ashwagandha supplement to potentially help boost testosterone and endurance when working out. This supplement includes a higher dosage than many others. The capsules themselves are average in size and are easy to take. When used as directed, these should last about two months.

Each serving (2 capsules) of Amazing Formulas Ashwagandha provides 3000 mg of ashwagandha extract -- which is approximately twice as much as the supplements my husband prefers. Because he feels 1500 mg daily serves his purposes, this means a single bottle of this brand lasts two months, making it a true bargain. (Even at 3000 mg daily, it's still an excellent price.)The capsules are made in the United States, and are non-GMO, manufactured according to GMP rules and are third party tested. My guy swears by ashwagandha and has taken it for years. He fully intends to stick to this brand from now on. It's a great deal for a pure product.

First off, I am reviewing this product based on my own opinion and restrictive diet and lifestyle. I looked up the benefits of what Ashwagandha was and the benefits it could provide and believed this to be a good product to try. However, what I did not seen originally in the photos of the product, I did notice on the bottle upon receiving and there is a warning saying, "you can be exposed to chemicals including Lead..." and the rest of the California State warning for it to cause cancer and others illnesses.This is a huge red flag and concern for me as I do have my own serious health concerns to worry about and this does not give me the biggest confidence in this product if I need to worry about ingesting a product that was meant to be a supplement to increase health and instead could cause other possible bodily harms to me.Now, I will rate this 3 stars because the capsules are equivalent to most veggie caps that are easy enough to swallow and take with water, and the bottle came very well packaged and secured with protective seals. This is great for freshness and to show it was not tampered with; however, the concerns of that message of the possible Lead exposure is a real concern for me.I normally don't leave negative reviews or bad reviews on a regular basis as I can always find the bright side in most products I use and try to give unbiased opinions and most factual statements possible when rating items, but this product worries me with this warning. Is there an actual chance lead is in the product, how much is in it and will it truly cause any harm to me if I consume this. I know there are dangers in our everyday lives, but considering I have not noticed anyone else point this out in their reviews, I would like to bring this up. It may have very beneficial properties, and for most they may have no issues with taking this, but the fact that this is on the label tells me a few things. The first being the company is honest and trying to inform you of a possible risk, which is appreciated, but the second is that the product itself may cause harm in the long term, so who would trust taking such a supplement if there are additional risks that may not out weigh the benefits supposedly being offered.I started taking this without noticing much of an impact on my health either negatively or positively, but I can tell this is definitely not a product I would get again or recommend to others who are concerned about all possible health benefits, especially if they are looking to pro-create some day. To those individuals I say, be warned and be wary, to the rest who continue to use this product without issue at the moment, be mindful of the statements on your supplement bottles because something like this is not positive or beneficial to increasing healthy lifestyles.

Everything is okay so far; I had no side effects or anything. It works as well as other brands. The expiration date on my bottle is April 2027.

I am new to Ashwagandha but I find this supplement feels calming and I have started taking it daily at lunch time. Also love that has very clear labeling: its manufactured/distributed in the U.S.A., has a product code and telephone number for the company, and doesn't contain any yucky stuff like preservatives, artificial colors/flavors, or any animal by-products. They are veggie capsules so I read this product as vegan. I really, really like this product and have incorporated it into my personal wellness routine for sure!
