So I got a cat recently and was actually really surprised how much this kind of thing costs, so if you're like me, I have shopped around and I'll save you the time: yes, these do run about the same price anywhere. These are on par with big box department stores, warehouse clubs, even "discount" or "closeout" stores. My husband said it was pretty easy to set up and in my opinion, it looks pretty nice in the house. It kind of blends in with the rest of the furniture, it doesn't look like some weird colorful jungle gym thing, so it's a tasteful design in my opinion and the best part: the cat actually likes it. Cats often don't use the stuff you get for them and your cat might not be like mine, but I do regularly notice him clawing the scratching pad on the side and have found him sleeping comfortably in the padded tiers a few times. I like that there are multiple sleeping areas and they're shadowed so if he wants to sleep in the dark, he can or if he would rather sleep on the top for more of a cat nap or relaxing lie down without actually sleeping he can do that, too. Good buy overall.

It really is a nice little piece, but it arrived with several pieces of trim falling off. We are gonna have to use glue or something but there is already a big pile of dried glue underneath so, not sure how that’s going to work…

I like this. It's unobtrusive and easy to think of as an end table, rather than one more cat toy or tower. My cat is coming around to it. Everything new seems to have to be her idea.

This is a very nice looking piece of furniture and I love the light wood tones. It assembled fairly easily and I only had one mistake to backtrack when I put the grooves on the wrong way. There is catnip and a cardboard layer and that is what initially drew our cat in. I have not seen her on the top level yet, but she is that way with another cat stand we have. She is 14 pounds and is probably on the bigger side of fitting in here, but, she likes it a lot.
