I knew Agnes B was a highly regarded designer and shopkeeper but I didn't know much of her background, her story of a journey from young single mother stylist to boutique designer and eventual worldwide fame and fortune was interestingly illustrated, with focus on her gifts for merchandising and drawing on the currents of art and design from the time. Anyone with an interest in fashion (both aesthetic and otherwise) will find it interesting, and a good companion to the similarly minded Jean Touitou of APC's book.
