This pen persistently leaks into the cap, leaving behind a mess that will get on your hands. For the price however, that is forgivable considering the flow on this pen. I've filled it with Pelikan 4001 historical blue ink and this pen manages to write smoother than some of my more expensive pens. Due to the leaking, I can't recommend using it for work/school as you might ruin your shirt, but this pen has become my daily driver for jotting quick notes around the house. For the ~$3 I spent on it I am happy with the purchase.

This fountain pen works surprisingly well and writes smoothly, making it a great option for beginners or anyone looking to add to their collection.While it’s not the best fountain pen out there, it exceeds expectations for the price and offers a fantastic entry point into fountain pen writing. The pen contains NO INK. The page does not tell you that you have to buy the ink separately. Also, it is not a .5 mm tip, it is a 1.0 thick tip. It makes a very thick line. Not very happy with it. Leaks really bad

This product is just the fountain pen WITHOUT ink, so you do need to buy your own bottle. The cartridge is a converter type, and it's super easy to fill up. Once the cartridge is filled, the ink flowed out smoothly like any other fountain pen I had. Other than that, this fountain pen works smoothly for me.

The pen writes well. The included resevoir is easy to fill, and the ink flowed to the nib faster than with the cartridges I've used with other similar pens. I've also noticed that the resevoir looks slightly different to other resevoirs I've seen. It works on the same premise, of course, but I wonder if it is proprietary. It might be something I'll experiment sometime.The pen handles well. It feels comfortable in the hand, like any other well-made pen. The colors remind me of a refregerator we hand growing up in the 70s . . . or is that just me?
