I have used GHD's for the last 15 years and instantly went to the website to order a new pair but was instantly put off by the £165 price tag for some of their newer models. The £109 I payed for my last pair seemed enough and I really wasn't prepared to just buy them on a whim without checking out other options.I ready a very useful review on a comparison website about the best 'non GHD models' and the Corioliss C3 came out with very high marks. I already have a Corioliss hairdryer which has been great so I knew their products were reliable, but I wasn't sure if they'd sort my frizz! I checked a You Tube clip of someone using them and decided that they looked up to the job and for £81 (Half the price of the GHDs) I bought them.They arrived the next day via Amazon Prime. I was pretty eager to see if they were any good and was not disappointed.Packaging and the box they arrived in was very professional looking. I had been concerned that they would come with a two pin plug as the product description suggests but was pleased to see it was actually a 3 pin that can be unscrewed to reveal a 2 pin when you go on holiday.Plugged them in - pressed the power button and the blue lights lit up. Thy reached temperature very quickly. Started off on the lowest heat setting and they had no problem getting my hair poker straight. There was no drag or snagging and with only one run through each section my hair was straight. In my honest opinion they were better than my GHDs. My hair stayed straight despite a really foggy, drizzly day.The titanium plates are floating so you can curl and wave with them, there was no difference between the waves the C3 made and my previous GHD model.The only criticism I would have is that they don't feel quite as solid as the GHDs - having said that they are lighter and the cord is longer.So for any GHD fans who are maybe feeling like a change, I would 100% recommend the Corioliss C3 as a like for like model. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars FFF = Frizz Free Forever *by J***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 February 2016* My hair is frizz city even if I open the oven . These straighteners are brilliant . I have the c2's and have had them for 6 years both my daughter's have borrowed them and I did not think they could be improved upon .
