This Coolibar hat gives you more coverage on your face. I have been getting skin cancer every year on my face and I decided to get. And I love it.

This hat is just as described in many of the reviews...IT RUNS SMALL, BUT FOR ME, THAT'S GREAT!My head measures 21 1/2 inches from above my ears to across my forehead where the band fits. It is a close fit and has a drawstring so you can go smaller but not larger. If you have a large cranium in back, you will have problems with it too I think.It is lined in the head portion so to make it cooler and/or larger you could take the risk of cutting out the lining.The hat is HUGE, bigger looking on me than in the photo because I have very short hair and a a small head. It looks amazingly chic. The night I ordered it I happened to see it in a movie and was relived because I was doubtful. It's like wearing an umbrella. Have not had a chance to see how it is in the heat but I'm not expecting it to be cool since I ordered black. I just need sun protection to recover from burns than cannot see the light of day.

I've worn this for two days at the pool. It has been very windy. The hat has come off a couple of times. It will stay on better if wet. It does what I want it to do which is keep the sun off my face and the top of my head. It has a velco strap at the back to adjust to make it tighter. The velco strap bothered me the first day because it is stiffer than the hat and you could feel it. It got better after I dipped the hat in water. Since I use it in the pool when paddling around I would prefer a ball cap style so I would have the brim at the back. Overall it does what I need it to do. Most of the time it isn't windy here so that shouldn't be an issue.

I am glad I bought this hat. The brim is not overly wide, but enough to give extra sun protection. The quality is good. It does not have a chin strap so if it’s windy it tends to blow off.

Very comfortable fit. The rim is adjustable side ways up or down and will stay where you put it I love the feel of the fabric 💜really love my hat ❤️❤️❤️

I like this hat, it blocks the light and you can bend the rim into any shape you want to help visibility and style. I've gotten compliments so I know it's attractive, and it works well with a variety of outfits. It's well made and I'm interested in the rest of the clothes they make. The only thing is it doesn't have a strap or a tie for under the chin. Why? I'm so confused. Big brims catch the wind, aren't these people aware that we are wearing this outside? Strange.

It is exactly what I was looking for. The material is like a swim material that feels very light and breathable. The brim is larger than other female bucket hats I have owned, but that is a plus because it protects my face from the sun better. I purchased the white one and it goes with so many outfits during the summer. I like the logo on the front is simple. Many companies have large unattractive logos on the front. My only critique for that, is it does say coolibar very noticeably on the back, but it’s ok. It is the brand after all.I haven’t gotten it wet yet, but the material feels like it will dry nicely.It folds easily and still looks nice afterward.

I really thought this would be the perfect pool hat but unfortunately not. I really like the color, fabric and size of brim, but the "bucket" part is way too shallow. My head measures 22" so not a big head! It is not nearly deep enough for my head especially with hair up, which is how one wears hair at a pool. It sits too far above my ears, so the size adjustment band just makes it slide UP. It would need a chinstrap to keep it on (which it lacks) in even the slightest breeze, so it's out of the question in any kind of breezy day. Very sad, Coolibar. I expect better designed/made products from this company!! Not sure yet, but may return due to it's limited usability or may keep for yardwork...if it's not breezy out.Update! This was returned. It just would not stay on!

Habe mir den Hut geholt mit Zweifel ob er mir passt, da es nur eine Größe gibt. Habe einen größeren Kopf und er passt ganz okay, mann muss ihn bei Wind etwas runterziehen und dabei ist er dann etwas straffer. Habe lange nach einem Sonnenhut gesucht der wirklich dass ganze Gesicht und den Nacken bedeckt und dabei kein Licht durchlässt. Bin mit ihm sehr zufrieden, er ist etwas „schwerer“ wegen seines dichten Stoffes, was mich nicht stört. Gerade bei Wind, fliegt er deshalb nicht schnell weg. Für Leute die zuverlässigen UV-Schutz suchen nur zu empfehlen.

Really gorgeous hat. Delivered speedily with no extra charges other than that advertised from the US to the UK. Brim is nice and wide and stiffened with wire to hold its shape. I’ve already had comments on how sophisticated it looks and it should keep the sun off my face this summer - perfect.

I just received my hat and it was squished into the package and the wire rim is broken.

I struggle to find women’s hats that aren’t too small, and this one fits perfectly. It stretches and is adjustable, foldable, quick drying, and offers great protection.
