Onarway Door Closer Size 3 Automatic Spring Hydraulic Door Closure

As soon as you figure out which way you need the device to go it will take so quick and extremely easy to install.

This has 6 operating modes depending on the orientation of the door. It took me a while to get my head around the instructions but I think they are pretty good - as complex as they need to be. I fitted it in about 20 mins and it works perfectly so far!

Bought this door closer based on the good reviews on Amazon. Seems well constructed and well finished. Instructions look complicated on initial look with the odd strange English here and there. However, installation is pretty simple with good paper templates, 6 screws and 1 bolt. Door closes nicely and certainly does the job required. Time will tell if it is a quality product, but so far, so good.

Excellent quality and seems robust. The installation instructions are clear and informative and include a template for correct positioning of each part . There are different sheets of instructions depending on if your door is opening inward/outward/right/ left . I am very pleased with the results .

Template didn’t quite work for me and I ended up re drilling the holes. Once this was done it worked ok. The adjustment proved difficult and in order for the door to latch I had to have both adjustments at full speed. This meant the door required some force to open. The latching adjustment screw at one point came out and oil poured all over the door and adjoining wall. Surely it could be designed to prevent removal of the screw - I know there is a warning about this in the instructions but the force of the door closing in my case shook the screw free and meant having to repaint.

Needed a new door closer for our shop door to replace the old one that had given us nearly twenty years of good service. Its an old wooden and glazed door, fairly heavy, but can be opened by the wind when it's in a certain direction. The old closer had lost it's smooth closing ability allowing the door to slam. What a joy to receive this Onarway Door Closer! Nicely made and sturdy too. There were umpteen templates provided in the box for use depending on your type of door. Unfortunately our door is not straight forward so the template was of only limited use but no fault of Onarway. Even then the closer was quick and easy to fit, and to adjust so that the door closes at a reasonable speed till just before the door jamb, then the closer takes over and can be adjusted so the door latches lovely and quietly. An excellent product at a very reasonable price. I have the confidence to think it should last a reasonable time. Well worth considering.

Good product, but could close softer for my preference.

I saved a hood $20-$30 with this purchase compared to usual diy big box stores. The quality is just as good, installation is just as easy and up to now, just as reliable. So, why pay more when you can get same product delivered at your home via Amazon

Adequate door latching speed makes opening door quite difficult.

Anche se si sono rotte delle viti e la punta di trapano in dotazione, il prodotto sembra funzionare proprio bene. E' necessario però armeggiare un pò per regolarlo come si vuole (parliamo di millimetri)
