I purchased the Wavlink AC1200 so I would have Wi-Fi to all areas of my home, workshop, and yard. The unit I received had a problem and would not work for more than a day or so. Wavelink has awesome customer service. They helped me every way they could to fix the issue. After no luck I received a new product to replace my faulty unit. The AC1200 is a great product. I’ve had no issues and it works great to extend your Wi-Fi around your home or workshop. I’m happy to give the unit 5 stars. I give Wavlink 10 stars for their customer service.

I’ve been upgrading my home, shop and garage with smart home features and my WiFi coverage was a bit weak at my shop which is about 150 feet from my router. Also, down in the garage, which is on the opposite side of my house, my signal sometimes was weak or would drop, depending on the weather, etc. This booster helped solve those issues and now I have good coverage all around my property, even getting two bars at the end of my driveway which is almost 500 ft away. The signal degrades quite a bit if the booster is behind a structure, such as, my garage devices are probably 30-40 feet around the corner and inside, I’m only getting two bars that close to the booster. Right now, I have it temporarily mounted about 6 ft off the ground and about middle ways behind my house. I haven’t mounted the booster permanently yet as I wanted to test it to be certain everything worked and to determine where the most optimal point would be so if this issue changes, I’ll update this review. Assembling the unit isn’t very difficult, just follow the instructions and you’ll be okay. One word of advice, there’s a thick rubber plug which you are supposed to run the Ethernet cable through but I only saw one small hole that the cable end absolutely would not fit through. I slit the plug on the side into that small hole and inserted the cable that way. Maybe my plug wasn’t made properly, who knows, but what I did worked fine and does not affect the seal or integrity of the plug. The set up process can be a bit tricky as you have to go online and configure things, etc. and the instructions aren’t written very clearly on this aspect but I was able to get through it and get mine working without any assistance from the company. My advice is to just take your time, follow the steps closely and cal customer service if you can’t figure it out. Overall, so far, I’m happy with the product’s performance because it definitely works and has boosted my WiFi signal quite a bit. I like that it has 2.4 and 5G options because some products will not work on one or the other. I definitely recommend this as a good product to give you the boost in coverage you need.

Did what I wanted. Extended home WIFI to cover my 8 acre property.

Bought a year ago to act as a booster, and once I eventually got it connected (which was nearly impossible from the beginning), it did its job fairly well, but would have random dead times occasionally. We have since switched networks and a year later I'm trying to get it switched and am having the same problems. Links don't work, online has no help, customer service is non existent. Phone numbers never actually go through. Overall, unless you are high tech, would not recommend... And even then, it's iffy.

Habe mich für dieses Produkt entschieden, weil mein WLAN im Garten zu schwach war. Ich habe den Wavelink nun als Repeater eingerichtet und super Empfang bis in die letzte Ecke. Ich habe mich für den Wavelink mit Tarnmuster entschieden, damit er im Garten nicht so auffällt. Schön wäre es, wenn auch das Netzwerkkabel im Tarnmuster gewesen wäre. So fällt der Wavelink kaum auf, aber das Netzwerkkabel extrem. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne.
