i brought it over to a get together and it was a hit! everyone enjoyed the subtle sweetness. not too lemony not too sweet , the right amount of fluffiness. the cream and almonds were a nice touch and if you put the panettone for 5 to 10 seconds in the microwave it tastes even more delicious. highly recommend

I have no idea what any of these fancy Italian words mean but this tasted like pretty good bread with chocolate filling. Nice and soft texture that kept well throughout the process of delivery. The additional chocolate cream that they provide is a nice addition as well. Would recommend

This particular panettone has a lively liqueur flavor undertone that packs a bit of a punch.MISSED OPPORTUNITIES: The flavor and texture of panettone isn't everyone's taste. If you haven't had it before, open yourself up to a new experience. And if you have, this is an example of a great panettone you'll likely enjoy.FINAL GRADE: A-

Product arrived good condition. As far as the product no way. It smelled so fermented, tasted that way as well. If that is what it should be, not for me. Not much chocolate inside the pantone as well. Unfortunately it went into the garbage. I bought for the first time, and the last time. Waste.

First of all, this is both the best (by far!) panettone and most expensive (by far!) panettone I've ever eaten. I am a regular purchaser of the Baducco brand panettones found at groceries and drug stores here in the U.S., and this imported product from Italy is on a whole other level.This is amazingly fresh, both in taste and texture. Even just cutting into it for the first time I could tell by the texture and how it pulled apart that it is very high quality. Panettone in general is a pretty dense sweet bread, but these panettones still manage to be light and airy while still maintaining that signature panettone heaviness. Not gummy or stodgy at all. The chocolate is incredible, I wish there was a bit more.I was not aware when ordering that there was a jar of hazlenut spread and also a packet of crushed hazlenuts. The hazlenut spread is INCREDIBLE and makes the already delicious panettone into a delectable dessert. Upon initial use/opening, you will need to spend a good amount of wrist action to stir the spread back into the proper uniform consistency (such as you do with natural peanut butter) as it separates during shipping, but after that it's ready to go and so so so delicious. I didn't have to stir it up again after that first time.I've included a number of photos as I was so impressed by everything here...from the packaging itself, to the sight of the whole set, to how great it looks with the hazlenut spread drizzled on it. I included a quarter in the photo of the items to give a sense of scale.This is a fantastic panettone. Given the price it isn't something I would buy regularly but think it would make a great gift, or impressive item to bring to any gathering, or to just treat yourself and your family and indulge sometimes. This is premium item that is well worth the asking price.

If you love the super sweetness of American pastries then this won't do you. It's sweet but not American sweet. It has a soft lemon flavor but not the intense artificial flavors of a "lemon" American pastry. The texture is like one of those cheap, processed American cinnamon rolls but lighter so it is actually much better than those and feels like a better quality when handled. This bread pastry also has little pieces of lemon in it. The flavor of this bread is good and the texture adds to the appeal. The "glaze" that comes with it follows the pattern of the bread and has a light lemony flavor but the texture is odd. It's almost like whipped oil and I don't care for it for that reason.Overall, the bread is good; it's tasty even to eat by itself. In fact, that's how we've been eating it. We enjoy the flavor and the texture. I am not experienced in Italian pastries but I am in American pastries. So, if you are looking for something really sweet then look elsewhere but if you are looking to try something different and don't mind not having a saturation of sugar then you may like this. But you will have to like lemon to enjoy this.
