This briefcase is much smaller and lighter than the old one. The old briefcase has spinner wheels and this one does not. I could not find a spinner wheel model is this size. I miss the spinner wheels! But, having said that, this briefcase is a great product from a great company from whom I have purchased many products over the years. One "feature" it has that I did not like is the back pocket has zippered side panels that can be unzipped so that the case can be completely opened flat. For use as a business briefcase, I find this annoying and the zippers are cheap and can easily get stuck and become almost impossible to unzip.
