UGREEN Nexode Pro 160W GaN USB C Laptop Charger, 4-Port PD 3.1 Charger

Like every other UGREEN product I've gotten, this is solidly built and delivers the goods. It has no problem charging a laptop, a phone and bluetooth speakers all at the same time. After testing it, I immediately added it to my computing travel bag, as it can charge almost every piece of tech gear I carry simultaneously.If I had to find a fault with it, it would be the location of the plug with respect to the charging ports. With the charger sitting upright, the plug is at the bottom-rear. This means that if you are pushing a cable into one of the front ports (especially the upper ones), leverage tends to pull the device out of the receptacle it's plugged into. So you can't really plug in a cable with one hand; most of the time, you'll need two hands to do so. But that is a minor flaw in an otherwise excellent device.

Love this thing, I purchased this because a travel for work, and it has no problem powering/charging a Dell XPS, Steam Deck, Pixel 9 pro, and headphones simultaneously at their maximum power. Its great to only need to carry one charger for everything, and after almost 2 years still going strong.The Good: Plenty of power, reliable, and stays reasonably cool with heavy load.The Bad: The only thing i can say is that its pretty heavy compared to most bricks, reasonably so, but loose outlets tend to have trouble holding it in place. You may want to add a small extension cord to your travel pack to avoid running into a problem in the hotel room.

So I'm a die hard Anker & Eufy guy and I was a little hesitant about purchasing this but Anker didn't have anything that was this size that packed this much power. While I don't travel often, I want to make sure I carry the lightest things possible when I do. I decided to give this a shot.First thing I noticed when I ripped open the amazon package was how small this was going to be. I had it in my head that it was super bulky. I turned it around and saw that they have what I love -- a little flap to help remove the tape. When I opened the box and took it out, impressed was the first thing that came into my head. I've attached a photo with a quarter and a ricola for scale.I recently bought the HP Omen Transcend 14 (2024) and trying to find an extra power source for it almost doesn't exist. I can confirm that this will def charge the laptop and do it quickly. I'm using the Ugreen 240 Watt usb c to usc b cable for this setup.

Seems nice and it does the job, the problem is: it gets too hot when charging MacBook Pro (m4 max) 16 inch + iPhone at the same time. I wonder how long will it last, let's see. I owned a prev generation with 140watts and didn't get as hot as this one. Will update the review if it stops working.

This has become my all time favorite and workhorse charger. It puts out the power consistently and cleanly. Almost zero interference any time I have used it. Obviously connecting a few devices to it will cause it to cycle a bit as it sorts itself out but then it delivers clean power to everything you could need. Folds up nice for travel and is a great size overall for the power. Puts out the appropriate charge levels and heat levels on it are acceptable. You have won me over with this charger alone!

The unit is solid feeling, but it OVERHEATS so quickly, it will shutdown within 30 mins of use.I put a max load on it, and it quickly shot up to 70+ Celsius and turned off. Its rated to 160 watts, so you would think it can handle charging at that level, but no. The surface temperature is already hitting high 70 to 80 Celsius, the internals must be cooking at or above 100 degrees C.Not only that, the sides of my charger have very prominent warping, not a good sign.I will keep the rating at 1 star until there is an update. (I am predicting the unit to fail quickly at this rate due to the thermals, I will see if they will honor the warranty or it's a return) Will update rating then.Update: Ugreen contacted me and fully stood behind their product. The issue was forwarded fairly quickly, I was kinda busy so I held up the processing a bit, but they determined that I got a faulty unit and helped resolve it. Updated rating to reflect the actual warranty process.

Not really a high power charger; I needed something more than the 100 watts that most of these chargers can provide. This one disappointed me too; my laptop shows only 95Watts from the C1 charging port. I bought this one because it claimed 140 watts from C1. Otherwise, it seems to be a good charger for the iPad and iPhone.

I have tried many, many adapters. This one is absolutely the best. It can power all of my laptops, tablets, and phones. It evens supports my Dell XPS 15 with an i9. As with any adapter, make sure you plug the right device into the correct port. Also, make sure you use a USB cable that supports the needed power. Those things are common to every adapter out there. I have several of these adapters... in the Fam Room, Sitting Area, Office, and, of course, my laptop bag. It's an investment for sure, but they are everywhere in my world. They really are that good. Just because Amazon wants it... they don't seem too hot, they are about as small as they can be, and depending on the device, it charges my stuff super quick.

I own most models of chargers that Ugreen offers and love them so bought this 160w and the new 100w as soon as they were released. These are incredibly high quality charger and what I love about this company is they’re constantly innovating and updating their product offering.This newest line of Pro chargers has increased total Watt output and I was surprised to see they also reduced the size. The 160w charger is now about the same size as their older 100w charger, slightly smaller than the similar 140w with 1 additional USB c port(3 C and 1 A).Tested with 16” m2 MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iPhone 15pro Max. iPad Pro, Samsung S23, Pixel 8 Pro and some older androids. Works with all devices flawlessly providing highest charge rates the devices allow. Just also ensure you are using cables that support the wattage that needs to be outputted. A 60w cable is not going to give you 140w that the MacBook can support. Most mobile devices will be charging well under 60w anyway. Also keep in mind that 160w is the total output. The more devices you plug in the less power each port gets. Ugreen has excellent images of how the power is distributed for each port and the number of devices connected. Check out their site or the product description.One more thing to note with these types of multi chargers is that every time you plug something new in or add a device to charge on something already plugged in the charger has to renegotiate the power output for each port. This results in all devices reconnecting. This is normal and how the technology works however you need to account for this in every day usage depending of what you’re powering. For example if you have a HomePod plugged into the device and also an iPhone charger, when you start charging the iPhone the HomePod may cut out or restart due to the temporary power loss. If this is a concern it’s probably best to use a dedicated charger for devices that can’t have power interruption.Overall great chargers. I’ve been using them for years. None have failed on me and all have performed as expected. Appreciate the constant size reduction and looking forward to the new flat 65w they have “coming soon”. The one con is this is quite expensive however Ugreen has their chargers on sale quite often so if you need a really good charger that will last but don’t want to pay full price just have patience and keep watching it for a sale.

This is a really nice power bank. does what it says. I specifically needed 100 watts out of one of the USB-C ports, and that’s exactly what I got. It’s nice having 3 USB-C and one USB-A charges fast as well. Would definitely recommend
