Great read! The book had to come out now. The plot is very timely with a twists and turns that keeps the reader turning the pages. Recommend reading it before the Presidential election. There is a lot of food for thought. Warning: Don't start reading if you don't have the time. It is one of those books you just can't put down.

I'm happy to see Sam Brashly get his own novel. In the past Sam has been an acquaintance, a nemesis, and finally a friend. He certainly knows how to look behind the headlines for a story as his Pulitzer proves, however, he also has a nose for trouble. He's an expert on the use of the internet...just don't let him near your computer. I hope this is the start of a series of thrillers for Sam. I wish him the best of luck.Chad Donegan

This is an exciting book featuring Sam Brashly, an auxiliary character in Wernli's earlier works. It's great fun to see Sam come into his own, while dealing with the very topical issues of illegal immigration and terrorism. Highly recommended!
