My hair feels restored after use. I produce a lot of oil with acids. This formula cleans deep all the oil build-up so my hair bathes in a healthier bed. Best shampoo I have found.

It works to help get the oily part around the scalp in the front at bay. It didn't really seem to help my hair in the front get any thicker. I didn't notice losing any more hair or shedding. I like it overall and will alternate with it.

I have tried many products over decades, this product is really causing new hair growth. Wow !!!

I bought this because I'm having a scalp itch problem, which this says it cures. I don't know if I just haven't been using it for long enough for my scalp to heal up or whatever it needs to do to stop itching but so far it just temporarily relieves the scalp itch and then it comes back after like 4 hours. They put something in it that makes your scalp feel cool for a while after showering but I think it's just a gimmick, so far as for relieving scalp itch it's a dud. Just seems like any other shampoo but makes your scalp feel cool for like maybe 10 minutes after you get out of the shower.

Background: I have Alopecia Areata, since highschool my hair would give me patches of baldness and the especially fun times with large areas of baldness, not sure when it comes or goes. Last year, I had a really large area in the front and being close to 40 I thought it may be about time for me to lose my hair, but part of me wondered if it was that dastardly Alopecia. On a whim I saw a video about carbonic acid shampoo so I looked on Amazon and looked for an inexpensive one that had good reviews and found this oneI dunno if Alopecia decided to randomly go away or it was this product, but since last year my hair has filled in for coverage. It isn't THICK but there is growth where I didn't see growth. Now does it solve male Patten baldness? I don't know because I don't know if I had Alopecia or MPB.I also struggled with dry skin on my scalp because Alopecia comes from Eczema (yep, puberty was a fun time where I would randomly be handsome and then randomly flakey, itchy, and bald....thank you genetics....) that DEFINITELY improved.Also, I like the smell because it isn't super strong like I'm trying to hard, but at the same time it isn't really girly (previously was just using my wife's shampoo). So if that matters for you, this is also nice.

Seriously cleans your scalp and keeps it healthy. Little goes a long way. Buy a cheap shampoo to get your scalp started then add a little of this and it will foam up like a science project.

This second purchase of the shampoo did not work like the first product. The first bottle was a thick liquid that suds up really well on the 2nd treatment whereas this second bottle was a thick gel and did NOT suds up at all...hair did not look or feel clean. My husband and I both use this product but no more. VERY unhappy with the experience second time around and on top of that the product cost quite a bit more than original purchase just a few months ago. REVIEW UPDATE! After the use of about 1/3 of the bottle of shampoo, the consistency and composition of the shampoo became more liquid like the first bottle and began to perform like our first experience. The shampoo is now an effective product. We don't know why the product was defective at first but is fine now.

Edit to my previous review:Regarding hair loss I noticed at the nape of my neck I don’t know why that occurred; however, I can assuredly say it was not from using this product. This is the BEST shampoo I have ever used. You only need a nickel sized amount and boy does it lather! Each 16 oz bottle lasts at least 3+ months so it is well worth the money. It has changed my hairline and my hair has grown back and remained with consistent use of this shampoo. I will never use another shampoo that’s how much it works, and how much I love it. I have used this as my only shampoo for about a year, and am only on my third bottle.I have used consistently for 3 months and I can say this works! Honestly, I was astonished at how well it works. I have had a horseshoe shaped bald spot primarily on the left side of my temple for years. I’ve used collagen which would help temporarily grow fine hair back in this spot; however it wouldn’t completely fill it in or regrow my full hairline.I was washing my face the other day and put a headband on and noticed my hairline went straight across so I took a picture to send to my daughter and she couldn’t believe it. She’s seen the difference from when I had lost my hair in that spot, when I tried collagen which by the way my hair would fall out once I stopped using it, and to using this shampoo. Now, I know if I stop using the shampoo the same will happen as when I stopped the collagen, but these results are much better AND easier to use than adding collagen to my food/drink. I must add; however, I’’ not sure if this is related to the product, but nothing else has changed in my life e.g. diet, medications, stress, etc., but the hair at the back of my neck has reversed and thinned out considerably! I am going to continue to use the product ONLY at my temples where I had hair loss and use another generic shampoo at the back to see if this product was somehow the cause of that hair loss. I’ll update once I have more news.
