I'm using this ceiling mount for a hammock chair. It's very strong and durable. It was easy to install and comes with heavy-duty hardware.

Affordable & worked for my sisters hammock.No problems- the included screws worked well- we needed to find a stud of course- stud finder is definitely a necessity if using this to hang up a hammock or yoga swing.

The Reason for Selection:To hang a hammock in my basementGeneral observations:As hardware goes, this appears to be of good stainless steel quality. I feel confident that it will last and that the 3,000# rating is accurate The weld is of good workmanship.The included lag bolts were typical steel construction. I chose not to use them. The concrete anchors are stainless steel and are of good quality. I did not use those either. For my case, the install was done with 4 regular grade 1/4" 20 bolts with heavy grade fender washers.What I did like about this hardware is that I can larks head my hammock suspension directly to the anchor or use a carabiner as an attachment point.After lollygagging a bit in my hammock and not detecting any issues with my hang, I can reccomend this bit of hardware if you need a solid anchor point.The Good:Exactly what I needed to hang my hammock in my basementThe Bad:Nothing Bad.The Ugly:Nothing Ugly.Value for Price:From my perspective and experience, the price of $13.99 is fair.If you want to understand my star rating criteria, click on my avatar above. Don't let the thumbnail fool you. You don't get the chain in the picture. Very misleading.

This heavy-duty swing hanger can support a hammock, but make sure that any support beam you screw the supplied lag bolts into is good solid wood or stronger material. It has a nice chrome finish that looks good.
