The only reason I've given this an overall 4* review is because the inside of the hook feels rough. I haven't tried using it yet but I like the thumb indentation on the side and it looks durable. I'll be careful when I use it though as I'm not sure if the rough area where the yarn sits is going to snag and make a mess of the wool i bought the hook for. I'll have a play with it this weekend and hopefully the rough bit won't be a problem. Otherwise it seems a really good hook amd I look forward to using it.

Wow amazing worked relatively well. I have arthritis in hands so can be a challenge sometimes. Just started to learner how to crochet and this gives quick results and as stitches are so large it's easy to see what you are doing

Brought some thick wool last year but wasn't able to do hand crochet so brought this and it works fine.

Surprisingly easy to hold hook that gave me the ability to make a lovely rug.
