Worked immediately!
This increased our 2.5 mo old babies sleep time immediately. The first night she slept a 5 hour stretch, then 3 hours. Previously she slept 2.5 hours at a time max. She was constantly coming out of other swaddles like the Halo, but didn’t do well in ones that allowed access to her hands as she would try to eat them and get frustrated. I’m already looking to buy a second so I don’t miss a night when it gets dirty! The material is so soft and comfortable for her. It’s very easy to use and is quickly donned/doffed when you need to change them.

Love this swaddle!
I went back and forth on buying this swaddle given the price, but I’m glad I did! My 10 week old was consistently breaking out of the halo swaddle we had been using and we were waking up multiple times in the night to rewrap him. The Ollie has proven to be a game changer in that regard and our little guy sleeps much better! The only thing I wish is that it were easier for middle of the night diaper changes.

The BEST swaddle
VERY highly recommend the Ollie swaddle. My grand daughter LOVES this. We bought one for her house and mine, so we are never without. Whether you are doing a full swaddle or leaving the arms out after they start to roll over, these are easy to use, great material, and very durable. Size works great so far Newborn-8 Months. And am still using.

MAGIC IN THE FIBERS?
I could sit and rave about this. I was so hesitant to buy, because the price is pretty up there, but man if it hadn't been the best investment. We tried the Happiest Baby swaddles, and the Love to Dream swaddle, and I would absolutely choose this one over those. My baby does just okay in both the others - but she breaks her arms out of the Happiest Baby swaddles, and while my baby seems to like having her arms up with the Love to Dream, it doesn't prevent her startle reflex and so she doesn't sleep long stretches in it. It also doesn't soothe her much and it takes her a long time to get to sleep in that one.But then, enter the Ollie. My expectations were all over the place. I was hopeful that my baby couldn't break out of it, but I really didn't think it would be different enough to actually make a difference. But there are quite a few things I love about it. It is more of a full body type swaddle compared to the Happiest Baby one. The happiest baby one is really just a strip to hold just the arms down and so it makes it way too easy to break out of. Plus, I think the full body effect of this one ends up being soothing. Just as a note though, the Ollie is a full body swaddle, but does still allow for good movement in the legs and hips!I also love that this is far from my baby's face. Almost every other swaddle seems to get close to my baby's mouth and I have to modify them to keep them away, or I just stress about it. The tie at the bottom of this will prevent it from riding up (you must tie it right below baby's feet). But I actually feel like this is secure enough it doesn't really ride up at all anyway. But I like having that extra assurance the it can't do that in the night. This is also Soo easy to use. When I used the Happiest Baby swaddles I felt like I was always fighting to get it lined up just right to give the best chance of keeping my baby's arms swaddles. The majority of the time it still wouldnt be enough. With this one, I feel it is so easy to use (go watch their short video on YouTube), and I feel I can pull it snuggly but somehow it still gives my baby so much space in the chest area (use the finger test to make sure it's not too tight). My baby has not broken out of this. She also immediately slept her longest stretch ever at night, and that was on night one! I wish I'd found this sooner, as it's truly made a huge difference for us. I've been very pleasantly surprised. It's like there's magic in the fibers or something! Really love and highly recommend this.

Baby sleeps great!
This is our favorite swaddle! Initially loved the halo but the stretchy fabric had my baby fighting it and trying to get out ultimately getting her frustrated. We switched to Ollie and she is sleeping great only wakes once a night now starting around 1.5-2 months old!

Not Worth the Money
Honestly- I don’t think these are worth the money. Friends highly recommended this and we saw it on the “Taking Cara Babies” videos and bought it for our newborn. It’s great in that it keeps them snug and loose around the hips but what I hate about it is how much it startles our newborns when you undo the Velcro in the middle of the night. If your goal is to keep them sleepy or do a dream feed it does not help the cause. Now, we just use regular blankets to swaddle them and it works just as well. And saves us $$$

Worked Until It Didn’t
My husband and I started using the Ollie swaddle early on when our newborn was breaking out of everything. We tried swaddleme (both the arms down and up versions) and the halo. Even though this was so pricey, we splurged in hopes that it would keep our girl’s arms down. It worked! Fabric is very thick and nice, and the swaddle is really well made. With this, you can really pull it as tight as you need it. With that being said, sometimes I’d get paranoid we were pulling it too tight, but she seemed to do ok with it. There is usually some fussing and crying when we put her down because she seems to want to wiggle free. But the Ollie swaddle has overall been great. Fast forward to 8 weeks, and these are no longer working for us unfortunately. Our girl now not only is a Houdini, but she’s also somehow developed Hulk strength. During the night, we’ve been finding her with the swaddle down at her belly with her arms flailing about. Don’t have that issue during naps…I guess just the longer stretches at night give her the opportunity to wiggle out. We first thought her kicking was causing the swaddle to pull down and tried not tying the elastic band as far up and then we also experimented with leaving it completely open. Same thing happened. She must be moving her arms in such a way that she can shimmy the swaddle down. We went back to the drawing board this past week because we think she could sleep through the night if she were in a swaddle where she could consistently not be able to break free. This one has just become too unreliable at night. However, for anyone with a newborn or a “calmer” baby (not a Hulk/Houdini :) ) who has tried everything else, give this a try! It’s pricey, but the fabric really does the trick for getting a good swaddle on your baby.
