Pitboss smoker auger
This kit has almost every component to repair your pitboss grill. I only used the auger motor but I will save the other parts because all parts will eventually fail.

Factory fit.
Pitt Boss Brunswick. They fit correctly. Actually, it fits all three pellet smokers I have. Pretty sure they all use the same parts.

A good starting package when you want spare parts or to refurbish a well used pellet smoker.
First off, all other sources I've seen recommend the ignitor to only protrude 1/8" to 1/4" into the fire box (not 1/4" to 1/2" as shown). Any further and you will experience premature burnout of the the ignitor rod. I've been through several already...and it makes a difference. Typically a faulty ignitor rod will cause your smoker to throw a ground-fault when you first start up or when the ignitor rod turns off around 5-minutes into the startup. This package supplies most of the parts necessary to rebuild your pellet smoker. In my case, a Traeger 070. I was experiencing an induction fan having issues during cold weather. It would squall like crazy and surge then stall...eventually warming up and operating correctly. Since I was going to have it torn apart anyway I opted to do a complete rebuild (minus the controller).New power cord, fan motor, auger motor, fire pot, and ignitor (with a spare) were changed out. Everything fit as they should. No modifications or farmer engineering required. The old Traeger is back and operating like new again. I just need to find a Wi-Fi PID style controller to make it better than new.

DOA
Control board went out on my Pit Boss smoker. I decided since I am disassembling the unit I may as well upgrade it completely with this set. Installed the fire burn pot and ignitor first with no issue. Proceeded to install the auger motor next. Tested for functionality and the motor was dead. Fan didn't turn and auger didn't spin. At this point I decided that this wasn't an 'upgrade" at all and installed the old auger motor. Left the fire burn pot and ignitor in there as they were functioning fine with my old setup. What would have been a nice 1 hour upgrade turned out to be a giant waste of time.

Good quality - comprehensive kit to overhaul your smoker.
No complaints at all about this kit. It includes nearly everything you need (minus a control board) to overhaul/rebuild your smoker's internals. I recently installed this on my Traeger, and everything mounted up perfectly and was a easy replacement of the factory parts. Everything works as expected, and after a couple months of pretty regular use it's all still working great. I think this is a good value for the money given everything that's included in the kit... at this price, even if you don't need everything right now, I'd say it's a reasonable idea to get this kit (for a comparative price to individual parts) and have spares on-hand in case you have future failures in your smoker's internals. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again, and would highly recommend.

Great kit, now I have some spares along with replacing several items
I have a Traeger 34 pro and this was certainly an upgrade for the components I replaced. The two I recently replaced with this kit were the fire pot and the blower fan. The fire pot is a great replacement for my old fire pot which was aging and showed major signs of deterioration. It’s solid and actually feels better than the original! Replacement of the fire pot can be a bit of a pain as you’ll remove the 4 twist screws, 3 screws Phillips and a bolt, then you need to lift the shaft of the auger to attempt to slide it out. Well, it first like to slide out and took quite a bit of oomph to force it off which I ultimately used a small pry bar (it’s pretty mini) but you need something to hold underneath so that it will slide over the bolt area. The other option is to disconnect the hopper and pull the entire thing out. Once that’s done it’s ready to put the new one on.Next I moved onto the blower fan since that was causing me issues. Well that was a different can of worms since the cable connection actually was bad (the blower fan in this kit was fine, my wire harness was actually the problem so I had to solder it before I could use the quick connect. Replacing the blower fan is painless, 4 1/4 screw bolts and take the old off, insert the new, plug it in and you’re off. The fan appears to be an improvement from the oem in terms of performance.I plan to replace the auger motor but that’s a bit more involved. The hot rod I’m using as backups to a ceramic hot rod that I upgraded to and my power cable was in great shape so I’ll use that as a backup as well. Overall it’s a fantastic kit at a great price point. They should consider including directions as right now none are included.

Good quality and works as it should. Set screws for the igniters and auger bolt not included.
The motors both function as they should. The igniter gets hot. The burn pot is made from thick metal. The only shortcoming is that it doesn't include a set screw for the igniter or bolt/locknut for the auger. If someone is refurbishing their grill with all these new parts, they will probably want to replace those as well.

Perfect Maintenance Set
I was so excited to see an affordable set of common "wear and tear" items for my Pit Boss 820D smoker! I've owned it going on four years, use it about four days per week, and was starting to see degradation in performance. I had to change out the control panel a few months back after it failed. This set was just what the doctor ordered for the rest of the control internals and heating element!Everything arrived securely packaged and ready to install out of the box, and is plug-and-play with my OEM stuff. With a fresh auger motor, igniter, induction fan and burn box, I expect to get several more years of use out of my smoker! The only thing left to keep an eye on may eventually be the condition of the heat shield, but otherwise, I feel like my smoker is now good as new! What a great, affordable kit!
