After blow drying, I lift the top and crown and spray, fairly closely, with little bursts. Let it dry for about 30 seconds then use my flat iron. The spray gives my hair a little "tooth" to work with the straightener, and after a small amount of Enjoy Dry Wax. my hair will stay all day without being stiff or crunchy. I did read the reviewer who commented that the can was too fat and hard to hold onto, and that is sadly true for arthritic hands, but still very worth it to get the right results. I even dropped it on the floor one day while using it. the can had a small dent as a result, but still works fine. Kenra does have exceptional hair products.
