This works! In our freezer it needs 3 days to set, then a minute in the microwave to release the cubes without tearing the mould. They are so large that they only initially fit in some of our tumblers!

Works well - freezes from the top down is how it’ creates clear ice cubes - best if you leave for 36? Hours in freezer. You can transfer into a zip lock bag to build up some stock of cubes

Works fantastically. Someone said about would be ideal if did a 3" sphere, I agree. But crystal clear spheres, the first batch i left less than 24 hours, and they were clear but almost seemed like they were frozen entirely, they melted quickly. Second batch was 36 hours, were spot on. Very good. Easy to remove if you run under warm tap water once out of the foam. Easy to sort, does take a good corner of freezer drawer so make sure you have enough room to keep in there.

The ice cubes are massive and for whisky in large tumblers last for 2 to 3 hours, at ambient temp. Just chill your bottle first. A delightful and too delicious a solution. Chill out

Ice cubes are not entirely clear, but pretty close. Size wise, more like 2.5x1.25 inches rather than 2x2 inches and they have a small extrusion where the hole for the water to drain to the lower level is positioned.Would have been nice to get the correct instructions as opposed to those for a spherical ice maker.

Does exactly as it says. Foam outside does get pushed out when freezing from the ice but the final results are unreal. Follow the instructions and wait the time. Ended up buying 9 for all my shareholders.

Description says it takes 24-30 hours, the box says 36-48 hours. It's taken minimum 48 hours so far. If you pull it out before it's frozen you've wasted 2 whole days. Some instructions would have been helpful as I'm just guessing as I go along which is annoying. I am yet to get a batch of perfect ice, however the space that should have the cloudy excess has some very clear ice which with an ice pick would be great to use.
