I have an older HID kit with these ballasts added in. Out with the old. In with the new. Literally plug and play. Love the beautiful lighting spread low or high beams without blinding ongoing traffic. The old technology halogen bulbs gave a very poor lighting. During inclement weather like rain this works perfect. Safety first. This have upgraded our headlights in our 1998 car!! Quality item in nice safe packaging too!! I'm planning to upgrade every bulb in the car to LED.PEACE - LIVE - LIFE - LOVE - LAUGH - PRAY --- PAZ - VIVIR - VIDA - AMOR - RÍER - ORAR

I'm not sure what these would be like to install on other vehicles but on a mini cooper, they aren't that easy.After finally getting them installed, they are indeed nice and bright, but my car doesn't think they are installed. (This must be a known issue that some vehicles have because the seller included a message to contact them if this is the case for a possible fix. I contacted them and am now waiting to see)The H7 bulbs themselves look to be of very good quality and as I said they are very bright. (I don't think they are overly bright, I haven't had anyone insist that I have on the high beams)I think I am going to have to replace the high beams now anyway also because they seem very yellow to me now.Ok so the lights seem to be great, I didn't rate them on longevity or ease of installation because I haven't had them long enough to know how long they will last, and I think installation is a relative thing depending on the vehicle application.So why only 4 stars and not 5? Well honestly, because they didn't work right out of the box. Now I will have to wait to see if I get a solution, then basically reinstall them again and if the fix still doesn't work, return them and go again a third installation time with another bulb.If your car isn't sensitive to the type of bulbs installed, then these are well worth the price, and you will be very happy with them.

Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong bulb type for my vehicle. So I am not able to test these bulbs.However, I have used the Sealight brand in the past with no issues. The quality of past Sealight bulbs are top notch and I highly recommend them.

There are two notches in the bulb shroud which allow the bulb to be rotated 90 degrees to optimize light output.
