Let me start off by saying that I'm a novice in photography. I usually like to photograph scenery and architecture, but I also I wanted to practice portrait and small item photography. This set has been instrumental me.It comes with everything you need, including the light bulbs (which come perfectly packed; I'm keeping the wrap to maintain them) And the quality of every item is good. My only thought is that the poles for the backdrop may be hollow, but it makes for easy carrying. Speaking of carrying, I love how everything fits nicely onto the included carry bag. There was even enough room for me to add my tripod on its case. And I also love how specific items like the soft boxes and backdrop materials have their own protective cases as well.When I received this item, I immediately opened it up. It took me about 10 minutes to set it up. I lightly ironed the backdrop and set it up to its largest capacity. It is big people! They give you three colors, but honestly your will need two clothes to for the entire width when set up this way. I then removed some poles and set it up to its smallest capacity (pictured). This fits the width of one backdrop cloth. I've taken a picture to try to show everything that's included (minus a circle reflector).

I'm psyched about this purchase. I wasn't sure about it considering the low number of reviews, but I took a risk and I'm glad I did. The cost of this is significantly cheaper than more established and professional brands, but at the end of the day, until I get more advanced in my photography, it's just a light kit. The variety of backdrops is great, and I love that it's a simple way of capturing people. Some shots attached!

Very nice set, all fits into a nice soft case, so simple to setup and break down, very bright lights, very wide background stand, I did not expect this much equipment for the price.Four bright lights are perfect for key, fill, back, and background, makes for a professional look, and can be done very simply and quickly.I have been shooting for years, and this is the fastest softbox setup I have ever used. No more strobe connector attached to a lamp, then strobe connector attached to the softbox. The softbox will pop open, the lamp ring will snap into place holding the softbox, with the lamp and cord already attached, just need to put on the stand, put the bulb in, and plug into a outlet, also comes with a adhesive diffuser cloth to filter the light even more. Each softbox comes in it's own bag, helps keep the softbox folded up and easy to put away. (Extra items that was not in the description)All stands are lightweight but it feel like quality stands, I have only used them for two shoots so no long term use yet, and the backdrop stand comes in it's own separate bag, (also an extra item not in description) making setup and break down even more organized. The backdrops are nice, the three good colors that everyone needs to have in there bag, and I also use a pattern backdrop I have had for years that works great with the stands. A goal and silver reflector over 20 inches, I was using to bounce light up from the floor for more depth. The kit even comes with clamps to hold the backdrops to the stands, everything has been thought about with this kit.I would call this the perfect starter kit, or if you are like me and half of all your old, broken or outdated stuff needs to be replaced this is a great kit at a very good price.

I gotta say. This set up is actually really good for the cost. I wouldn't say its made out of SUPER durable materials, however, this being a tool it is always important to handle all lighting gear with care. If you take care of your setup, it will last you a long while. I dont see any reason why this wouldnt be a long lasting purchase if you treat it like a professional. In the photo you can see my video set in my recording studio. It does the exact job i needed it to do. I am very happy with the product and I would recommend it to anyone who is in need of a great lighting setup for digital video production.Also, the screens seem really nice. Im sure I will find a use for them. And you cannot complain about the reflector piece that is included to give a gold or platinum highlight to your film or photo object.I would highly recommend this.
