The Complete Superted Series 1-3 [DVD]

Another one of my childhood favourites. It was made and broadcast before i was born. So i only saw it when it came out on VHS in either the late 80s or early 90s. I loved this show from day one. So was pleased to see it on DVD. I paid just over a fiver for a 3 series DVD set. Which in my eyes is brilliant value. Very pleased to have one of my all time favourite childhood shows on DVD. Derek Griffiths does a brillaint job of voicing Superted. The DVD is amazingly good quality seen as it was made a good 30 or so years ago.

The Complete Superted Series 1-3 [DVD] [1982 ]This is the original T.V. series from 1982. It has lost none of its` charm, the sound and visual production is superb.Young children love it. If you listen carefully to it, there are several`treats` for adults where the things said by the characters have a different meaning for adults and can be quite amusing.

Before getting into of Marvel and DC Heroes in the 90s this was the first superhero show that I watch when I was a child.It is a really good show for young kids. I would recommend it to parents with children 4 years and above. At that age they can experience the first step of what the life of a superhero is like. With only a few easy villains to remember and each storyline is under ten minutes long in each episode.When the kids get to about 7/8 years old then I would recommend them watching Marvel/DC superheroes from the 90s. Trust me, if they like is they will enjoy Batman, Spiderman and many more from this era.I got this for my two young cousins who are both 4yrs old and they really enjoyed it.

WEll done for sending this so promptly - A brilliant series that our Grandchildren (2 and 4) enjoy - each programme is short enough for them to stay with it - so popular that when doing a superheroes topic for school assembly, the whole class adopted Superted as their favourite superhero !

My daughter, neice and nephew (ages 4,5 & 6) were glued to this from the start of the first episode. I didn't know how well it would have aged, but it seems to be a timeless classic.Seasons 1 & 2 are on disc 1 and season 3 is on disc 2. The episodes are quite short. Only around 10 minutes each, give or take, perfect for a short attention span.The only criticism I have is that it has not been remastered, but the kids did not care so I guess it doesn't matter.

so glad to be the first to review this piece of great childrens tv.I watched this as a child and, as with many other tv series from my childhood, I have got this for my children to watch.each episode is only 7 minutes long so nice and short and yes the baddies are always the same and super ted saves the day in every episode but compared to the rubbish they have on for kids these days this series makes a nice change.and to be honest me and my husband found ourselves glued to the tv too watching this blast from the past.my kids really enjoyed it and they are short and sweet so I would recommend this to any children really.just a great reminder of what the 80/90's childrens tv was like.

Great viewing for children. Engaging opening, good use of vibrant colour & an unusual mix of characters all add to the magical entertainment provided.

This is a wonderful dvd set. It includes all three series of Superted. It brings back all the magic memories that I remember when I was young and my 3 year old daughther absolutely loves it.Texas Pete is still causing trouble!!!

Arrive a Month early than it was Supposed to do. Very Happy with the DVDs A++++

I have liked SuperTed for the past 25 years. I was happy to find the set - this is the complete series 1-3 . I have bought other compilations that have had a few episodes, but this compilation has more episodes than I have been able to find in any other compilation. Remember - this is a region 2 item and won't play in most US dvd or blu ray players.

My son is in his 30s and get watched superted until the vhs tape poped. So I got it as a gift he was so excited.

My daughter loves her Teddy bear and so this cartoon was perfect for her. It also brought back a lot of memories for myself.
