I really like this mascara, especially for the price. It gives my lashes noticeable length and some volume without making them look too clumpy or heavy. The wand separates the lashes pretty well, and the extra black shade gives a nice bold look without being too dramatic for everyday wear. It applies easily and builds up nicely if you want a little more volume. I also like that it is vegan, cruelty free, and paraben free. For under $5, the quality is honestly impressive. It performs better than some more expensive mascaras I’ve tried. Overall, this is a great affordable mascara and definitely worth trying.

Have repurchased many times, will always repurchase. Great lengthening, not amazing but still good volume mascara. For the price I just can't see myself trying a +$20 mascara. It does the job and comes off well after. You can get what you expect, sometimes can fall under eye during the day, but overall will always repurchase this.

Surprisingly good! This is my new fave mascara -let me be clear though, I do not spend large sums on makeup (period) so I’m in no way comparing this to bigger brands. This does clump a little but it’s not hard to spread out or off your lashes. My lashes are long but not dark enough to be totally visible so this was a great product in showing their true length and also giving me room to shape them as I please. As far as washing it off after use, for me it was easy and didn’t leave a mess. Definitely recommend trying for anyone still on the fence and skeptical.

Don't waste your money on the expensive name brands! I discovered this mascara years ago after watching a YouTube video, and I've been buying Essence ever since. I used to pick it up at Ulta, but I found the exact same mascara on Amazon for a better price. It works just as well as high-end mascaras I've tried, and I can't justify spending more anymore. I'll definitely be buying my makeup on Amazon from now on. Great product, great price, and a fantastic value!

It’s pretty good, I don’t really like the wand it comes with. It is similar to telescopic mascara! It’s like any other mascara but for the price I’d probably buy again.

The mascara has a nice applicator that applies even layers without clumping, which is why I would prefer it over the Lash Princess (the blue one I had, which I compared it to). A lightweight formula, not very thick yet coats the lashes well, which looks neat and natural with first two coats and can be built up. Since I switched from waterproof to non-waterproof for everyday use, this was perfect. Felt a more lengthening effect than volumising, but I don't build it up much more than two, so that could be the reason.
